Hi, I scored 83 % in my 12th exams and 86 percentile in du jat. Im from general category. Will I get admission in delhi university?

Raji_49 Student Expert 22nd Jul, 2019

Hi Hemant,

According to the analysis made with your score and the previous year cut offs , it is difficult to obtain a seat in a good college under DU with your DU JAT score. A candidate must score a percentile of  90% to obtain a seat in a top college under DU.

However you have fair chances of obtaining a seat in the middle order colleges. So you can try your chances there.

Nit Raipur cutoff for EWS for ECE PLZZ tell

adyasamohanty611_9299468 Student Expert 13th Jun, 2019

Hi Nitin

The concept of EWS quota has been described and started this year only.

That is why predicting the cutoff for this category is really difficult and is most likely to be wrong.

The trends in JEE change every year so you must wait till the end of the counseling to get to know any absolute cutoff.

Hope this helps.

hey, I recieved a message from Delhi university to update my marks today. But the last date to do so was yesterday. what to do now?

Vidhi 22nd Jul, 2019
Hey!

Sometimes, errors do occur from authorities' side regarding registration and admission processes.

In this case, you should still try to update your mentioned marks on your application portal as per required by the University of Delhi. If you are unable to edit the marks today, then please write a mail to the DU authorities stating your concern.

They will try to get back to you and let you know what can be done about this error.

Best wishes!

can i do M.A English after doing B.el.ed from Delhi university?

Souparni Student Expert 21st Jul, 2019
Hello Sanjay,

Yes, you can pursue Masters in English after B.El.Ed, as the qualification for MA in English, is having English as a subject at the Graduate level. However, you will have to give entrance exams in order to get a seat for MA English in the top universities. Another thing, MA English will concern with hard-core literature and its interpretation so you should keep that in mind as well.

Which is the better college between laximibai college and pgdav college of delhi university in terms of placement for b.com and overall also

S. Saha Student Expert 21st Jul, 2019
No doubt, PGDAV college, Delhi University is one  the best college for B.com from all aspects.
The placement cell of P. G. D. A. V college is too good. Many big companies come to the college for placement such as HCL, TATA, MTV etc. More than 20 students got placement. They offered the packages between 20 to 30k. The package differs on the capabilities and companies according to their post to be in the company.
The fees for B.com is around 12k-15k.

which course is better in BA English honours or b el ed from delhi university ?

S. Saha Student Expert 21st Jul, 2019
Delhi University is one of the best universities in India. Both the courses arr good there. It totally depends on your point of interest. I would say B.El.Ed will be better choice. It is a 4 year integrated professional degree programme of elementary teacher education. You can apply in various private and government schools for teaching till elementary classes.
Clearing TET you can apply for the primary and secondary teacher's post.
On the other side, after completing BA english, you need to complete MA for getting a better job.
Now, you need to think, what you want to study. Go for that where you can find your interest.
All the best.
