Dear aspirant...!!
DU Admissions 2019 (Undergraduate)
Registration process
The registration is done online where there’s one form for applying into almost all DU colleges, except for colleges like Jesus and Mary which has its own separate portal. It is extremely important to fill the form, failure in doing so might result in you losing your chance in the university.
The registration process begins in the third week of may and ends in the first week of June with the first admissions list coming out in the first week of June.
Cut Offs
The registration portal is where you’ll find the cut off lists too. The cut-offs come a few days after the result is out. The first cut offs might go as high as 98.5 for top colleges.
What you need to keep in mind is that you should get into whatever college you make to in the first cut-offs and switch your college later if you get a chance at a better college. There are as many as 10 cut off lists that come out.
Some might get out even after the new session has begun. For the general category, most of the seats are taken by the 3rd or the 4th cutoff.
Entrance Exams
The registration form for the entrance exams is different and the exams are held mostly at the beginning of June and the results come out within a month. The entrances are for popular courses like Business Management Studies, Business Economics, Mass Communication etc.
The online registration this year starts from the 3rd week of May and ends in the 1st week of June. The Hall ticket will be released from the third week of June 2019 and the admissions list will start coming out in the second week of July.
Hope your query is solved!
All the best!
Dear Yash, as per the last years cutoff you have to get above 90% to get the topmost college of Delhi universities like Arybhatta college, Bharati College, DAV College, Daulat Ram college, Deshbandhu college, Gargi college, Indraprastha college,Janki Devi Memorial college etc.
Hii Lynette
The cutoffs for the Schedule tribes students applying for admissions to the delhu university colleges for the various courses offered by the university are comparatively very very low than the cut offs for the general cateogory students who have applied.
For knowing the complete detailed cutoffs for the delhi university colleges of 2019 you will have to wait for the cutoffs to be declared meanwhile you can check the cut offs for the previous years for the same colleges for the Bachelor's in Economics honours course here - https://university.careers360.com/articles/du-cutoff also http://www.du.ac.in/cut-off.html
Hope it helps
Thanks
Hi Nishu.
Congratulations for passing Class 12 with decent percentage.
Coming to your query, the cut off marks for colleges affiliated to Delhi University are generally quite sky-rocketing which makes the competition stiff and cut-throat.
However, as your scores are decent and considering your category, you do have good chances of getting a seat.
Thanks for reaching out to us.
All the best.
