Is home state quota applicable in Delhi university entrance test(DUET) B.tech entry?

Yes home state quota is there in Delhi but only for Delhi region students ( means there is not any other state quota) only Delhi region and outside Delhi region .

Considering you are a Mechanical engineer the eligibility criteria for admission in M.sc physics and astrophysics at delhi University is-

graduation from any other branch of Science or Engineering with Physics and Mathematics as two of the Subjects of study.

Then you must have 60% or above marks in the aggregate and 60% or above marks in Physics.

If you fulfil these above requirement then you are completely eligible for it.

The honors are like learning one particular subject in depth and having some side subjects but mainly focusing on your honors subject.

But, whereas in BA Pass program you learn a little - little about everything, soo mainly more chances are open for you In BA Programme in comparison to Honours Subject.

You should have studied Mathematics in Class 12th to be eligible to appear for the exam.

According to the Eligibility Criteria, candidates belonging to the General Category should have an aggregate of minimum 60 percent in four papers including English, Mathematics and other two subjects from the list of elective subjects as approved by the University of Delhi. 
The list of subjects are-

Arabic,Bengali, Botany, Biology/ Biotechnology, Chemistry, Commerce/Business Studies, Computer Science/ Informatics Practices, Economics, English, French,Geography, Geology, German, Hindi Italian, LegalStudies, Mathematics, Persian, Philosophy, Physics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Spanish, Statistics, Urdu, History, Political Science, Zoology, Home Science, Punjabi, and Accountancy.

Hello,

  • To prepare for admission to DU and CLAT, you must be updated with the current affairs. Read newspapers and other general knowledge books.
  • Have strong grasp of basics. Having a strong base lets you have a deeper knowledge of the subject.
  • Get all your doubts cleared as and when they arise. This will help you solve more answers correctly in less time.
  • Know the syllabus and exam pattern of the exam. Download and practice as many previous years' question papers as possible.
  • Regular revision goes a long way in getting one thoroughly prepared for exam.
  • To get a real exam feel, practice solving mock tests. This will also help you analyze your level of performance.
  • Lastly, do ot panic and take right stress. Eat healthy, exercise and take regular sleep.

Yes you can. You just need to fulfill this two conditions:

  • Applicants applying for the MAH CET 2019 need to be a graduate or have acquired an equivalent degree from a recognised university.

  • General category candidates must have obtained 50 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and reserved category candidates must obtain 45 per cent in their undergraduate studies.
