My percentile in Du Jat is 95.46 and my 12th score is 95%. Can I expect admission in Delhi university?

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

Hey mohit!.

Congratulations for getting this good percentile. And with this percentile and according to the previous ywar cutoff trends ,you have good chances for getting A BBE seat in Sri guru nanak dev khalsa college and Dr.br ambedkar college. But your chances for BMS and BBA are quite low. As with this percentile , i can expect your rank to be more than 700. But for admission in these courses , your rank must be less than 700.

Should I go for ba hons English from IP university, or ba hons philosophy from Delhi University??

Ananya Bhowmick 17th Jul, 2019
Hello Aspirant,

Taking English as a major paper will be a better choice. IP is a good university with good faculty members. Philosophy is also a good subject but it has its own limitations and people in modern era are not prone to philosophy wheras English is the need of the hour. It has good career options in personal as well as public sphere. So, I would suggest you to have English as your core paper. Rest, choice is yours as to which subject will gain you more interest and marks.

Good Luck

  • Shaheed Bhagat Singh
  • Dyal Singh
  • Delhi college of commerce and arts
  • Atma ram Sanatan Dharam college

Hope this helps.

I secured 220 marks with Sr no. 1246 and rank 84 in EWS category In DU LLB 2019 What is chance of getting admission in delhi university LLB.

abhisheksingh19121999_6969616 Student Expert 16th Jul, 2019
Hello,.
Ews reservation is yet to be implemented so we don not have any previous data to predict any thing.
As far as i am concerned about the genral catagory then in 2018 the last merit rank admitted for a general candidate was 91 in the first cutoff list.
in the second list it was 99 and the corresponding mark was 226.
In the third list it was 101 ,224 being the corresponding mark.
Keeping in mind the previous data you do hold a chance of getting admission in delhi university for llb.
More over you are seeking admission under ews quota. It will definitely help you in fetching a seat.
As of now make sure that you keep yourself updated about all the important information about the councelling process. It is likely to begin from the forth week of july.
For details about the previous cutoffs do refer to the link given below.http://www.google.com/amp/s/law.careers360.com/articles/du-llb-cutoff/amp
Good luck
