No, your offered/allotted seat in the 1st round of counselling will not be canceled/lost if you participate/attend in Round 2; but if you are offered a seat in the 2nd round then the seat which was allotted to you in the 1st round gets canceled. And the documents which you have submitted at the Certificate Verification Center and the Admission Fee paid at the “1st round allotted institute” will be transferred to your “newly allotted institute”.

Therefore, you must be cautious while exercising your options/choice filing in Round 2. Only select the best and most likable to-attend Colleges as per your “personal” perspective.

According your rank you may or may not get government college. Following are the possibilities of getting government college

If you are SC or ST category.

If you belong to OBC category you have a least chance to get government college.

If you are general category you can't get government college.

In some rare to rare cases only one may get government college. It totally depends on luck.

But choose best college in private colleges.

This infomation will not be revealed but you can contact the college you are interested in to know the number of seats that are left in their college.Mostly if the seats are not filled completely and you apply for that college, then you have chances of getting a seat there.You cannot find that information anywhere other than only contacting the college.I hope your query is answered.
