can someone get admission in German private university with 52% in bachelors and 6.0 band score in IELTS with 1 year gap with no experience

Sankalp Agrawal 31st Oct, 2025

Hello,

Yes, admission to a German private university with 52% in bachelors, 6.0 IELTS band, and a 1-year gap is possible, but options are limited.

Private universities in Germany are more flexible than public ones. You can apply for courses in management, business, or IT fields. However, you must justify the gap year and ensure a strong Statement of Purpose (SOP).

It’s better to contact universities directly, as some may ask for additional documents or foundation courses before admission.

Hope you understand.

how to transfer my credits to ignou through external credit transfer? Ive completed 2 years of regular degree in bca in Andhra University can i transfer my credits to ignou?

Jishan Mondal 31st Oct, 2025

Hello, Yes, IGNOU has a policy for "External Credit Transfer" (ECT), but it is extremely specific. You can transfer a maximum of 50% of the total program credits (e.g., up to 50-60 credits for a ~120 credit BCA program) from another recognized university like Andhra University, provided you have not completed the degree there.

However, this is not a simple lateral entry. The transfer is done on a course-by-course basis, not a year-by-year basis. You must first take admission as a new, 1st-year student in IGNOU's BCA program. After your admission is confirmed, you must apply for credit transfer by submitting your Andhra University marksheets, the detailed syllabus of every subject you passed, and a fee. The IGNOU faculty will then manually compare your old syllabus to their current one. They will only grant you an exemption for the specific IGNOU courses that are a very close match in content and credit weight. You will then have to study and pass all the remaining courses to get the IGNOU degree.

I hope your confusion is cleared and you found this information helpful. For any study related queries you can ask in the Careers360 app. Have a great day!

    • Prepare well for SAT or ACT (if required).

  2. Build leadership qualities:

    • Take part in school clubs, competitions, or community work.

    • Try to lead projects or teams instead of just joining them.

    • Show that you can make a positive change around you.

  3. Follow your passion deeply:

    • Choose one or two activities you truly love (sports, writing, science, art, coding, etc.).

    • Achieve something special in them: awards, projects, or recognition.

Is JNU or Delhi university good for doing MPH?

Jishan Mondal 28th Oct, 2025

Hello, Yes, JNU is an excellent and well-regarded choice for an MPH. Its Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health (CSMCH) offers a 2-year Master of Public Health program known for its strong academic rigor. The program focuses heavily on the social sciences, research methodology, community health, and health policy. Admission is competitive, based on the CUET-PG exam and a personal interview.

Regarding Delhi University (DU), it does not have a well-known, central MPH program like JNU's. While the "Delhi School of Public Health" exists under its Institution of Eminence (IoE) initiative, its programs are still developing. You might find MPH programs at other state universities in Delhi, like Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University (AUD) or DPSRU, but these are separate from DU.

Therefore, if choosing between the two, JNU is the clear and established option for a research and policy-focused MPH.

I hope you found this information helpful and for any study related queries you can ask in careers360 app, Have a great day!
