Hi sir/mam , I qualified ugc net jrf 2019 december attempt in commerce . I wrote exam under obc non creamy layer category, at that time i dont hve that certificate of obc of prior date ,but now i made obc certificate in nov 2020. will i face any problem while document verification please reply soon

Ayush Maurya 3rd Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant

At the time of registration you should attach the undertaking but leave it if you didn't.

It won't create any trouble as during the time of verification simply attach you obc non creamy layer certificate. Might they will ask by their self also about the certificate by giving you some time. They will ask for the undertaking but then you just tell them that now I'm having the certificate just see it.

Then after that no problem.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

which paper should I select in UGC NET for doing Mtech in "petroleum engineering" or environmental occupational health and safety.

ojaswiyolo Student Expert 26th Nov, 2020

Hello

NET is not conducted to get admission in masters program (like GATE) but it is an exam which you can give while you are persuing your masters or have already completed it. NET is given to be eligible for research (PhD ) after which you can be appointed as a researcher or a lecturer.

I suggest you to make profile on linkedin, times job and update your cv and education, work experience details regularly. meanwhile you may check the different colleges official website to check for vacancy.

Hi sir, I qualified UGC NET June 2019 in Labour Welfare. I wrote the exam under EWS category. I got my EWS certificate in November 2020. Is there any problem in that? Hop to hear from you soon.

theeanonymous 6th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

The EWS certificate is required only when you apply for a teaching or research post. During the appointment , they will verify the documents and that is when you will need your EWS certificate. The validity of the EWS certificate is decided by the designated authority of the states and in general the validity is till one year from the date of issue. So having written the exam as an EWS candidate , if you have a valid EWS certificate based on the current income and asset details , then you have no reason to worry.
