since you are Btech and mtech students so you are not eligible for ugc net .however you are eligible for csir net .and you have to appear in csir net exam .you can chose any subject from the list of subjects provided by the official website .try checking

I don't get what do you mean by free college i suppose it means getting college in kcet counseling and as you did not specify any category and if you are general i can say that it isn't q good rank you will have very few chances getting

Yes you can apply for NET when you are studying in 2nd semester of your MSc- 1st year.
You can apply to any Biological Science.

Yes , you can easily eligibility for UGC NET exam . If you have minimum 55% in your master's degree. As you were a management student, you can apply for the following  three subjects:-

  • Management
  • Commerce
  • Labour Welfare/ Industrial Relations

To attempt UGC NET, you must have qualified any masters /post graduate degree from ugc recognized university and you must have minimum 50% in same as per eligibility criteria.
