Round 1: 172 and above (all categories)

Round 2: 120 and above (SC)

But, still to inform you, the eligibility criteria for BCA at University of Allahabad is that candidate should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics (science group) from any recognized Board or its equivalent.

There is an entrance test admission by the process of counseling.

It depends upon what other choices you have and what you want!

1. You aim corporate sector- No. No company visits here. Placement cell is a utopian dream at Faculty of Law.
2. You aim litigation- Yes. You will have ample time to nurture your skills. The Allahabad High Court and lower court will teach you the basics and make you pro.
3. Internships- Not many in Allahabad. However, you can always manage some of them under Judges, lawyers, HRLN and Mediation Centre.
4. You aim Judicial Services- You are most welcome. This is the right place for you. You can always manage your preparation since attendance is not strictly imposed, plus, teachers are easy-going. However, I won't recommend any coaching here!
5. Willing to enter student politics-Come dear! Allahabad University is the perfect place to learn all the bad things about politics. Here, you can learn Vote-Bank politics, hooliganism, vandalism and all sort of things necessary for being a good politician! *Sarcasm intended*
6. If you have to chose AU over any NLU or UILS, Punjab or UPES- Don't! You will regret it later.
7. If you think you will get great teachers here- No, you won't! We have lost the legacy!
8. Great Infrastructure- Five Year Law Course has awesome Classrooms. Rest everything is better, if avoided!
9. Library- Pathetic!
10. Cost-effective- Yes! It's meagre if you do a 3-Year course. Even FYL Course is inexpensive when compared to those of NLUs. Besides, fooding and lodging in Allahabad doesn't ask much.
11. Want Degree only- Yes, wouldn't cost you much of efforts here!

In case, you aren't aware, there are two undergraduate programmes run here: 3 Year LLB Course and Five Year Integrated Law Course. You have to make a decision.

The concept of EWS quota has been described and started this year only.

That is why predicting the cutoff for this category is really difficult and is most likely to be wrong.

The trends in JEE change every year so you must wait till the end of the counseling to get to know any absolute cutoff.
