Wrong mother surname is cuet form and in du application form will it affect my admission pls reply I am very stressed .

Kanishka kaushikii 22nd Jul, 2024

Hello aspirant,
Having a discrepancy in your mother’s surname on your CUET application form and Delhi University (DU) application form can potentially affect your admission if the mismatch is significant.
You can address such issue by:

1. Review the guidelines provided by CUET and DU for any instructions on handling discrepancies in personal information.

2. If required, provide documentation that verifies the correct surname. This might include official documents like a birth certificate, Aadhaar card, or any other valid ID that shows the correct information.

3.Reach out to the CUET helpdesk or examination authority to report the discrepancy and ask for guidance on correcting the information, or, Contact the DU admissions office for instructions on updating or correcting details in your application form.

4.Follow the procedure provided by the respective authorities to rectify the discrepancy. This might involve submitting a written request, updated documents, or other forms of verification.

5. Obtain confirmation from both CUET and DU that the discrepancy has been corrected and that your application details are accurate.

I hope this information helps.

What is the Least marks required in CUET 2024 exam to get any college of Delhi University of Bcom hons branch any college good bad worst any?

monag2673 24th Jul, 2024

Predicting the exact cut-off for B.Com (Hons) in DU through CUET is difficult. However, here's a general idea:

  • Minimum Requirement: Securing a minimum score of around 480 out of 800 in CUET is necessary for basic eligibility for DU admissions across programs.

  • B.Com (Hons) Competition: But, for B.Com (Hons), especially in good colleges, the cut-off is much higher. It can range from 650-700 and might even reach above 700 for top colleges.

  • College Variations: The cut-off varies significantly between colleges. Lesser-known colleges might have lower cut-offs compared to prestigious ones.

Remember: The cut-off depends on factors like the number of applicants and the difficulty level of the exam. It's best to aim for a higher score to have a wider range of college options.

if i have taken admission GGDSD college chandigarh through non-centralised process and later on wanted to go to DU will my coirse fees be refunded

monag2673 16th Jul, 2024

Typically, educational institutions have refund policies that outline the conditions under which fees can be refunded. Common factors influencing refunds include:

  • Timing of withdrawal: The earlier you withdraw, the higher the chances of a full or partial refund.
  • Reason for withdrawal: Some institutions might have specific reasons for which refunds are granted.
  • Deductions: There might be deductions for administrative fees or other charges.

Specific to GGDSD College:

To get precise information about your refund eligibility, you should:

  1. Check the College Website: Look for the admission brochure or prospectus. It often contains details about refund policies.
  2. Contact the College Directly: Reach out to the admissions or accounts department of GGDSD College. They can provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your specific situation.

Important Considerations:

  • DU Admission Process: Ensure you understand the admission process and deadlines for DU to avoid any issues.
  • Academic Implications: Leaving GGDSD College might have academic implications. Consult with the college's academic advisor to understand the potential consequences.

By following these steps, you can get the necessary information and make informed decisions.

what is the creteria of taking admission in Delhi University

Tanya Gupta 27th Sep, 2024

Hello,

Admission to Delhi University (DU) is based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for most undergraduate programs. Students must pass their 12th-grade board exams and register for CUET, which determines eligibility based on merit. Some courses may have additional criteria, like interviews or portfolio assessments (for fine arts, etc.). For postgraduate programs, DU holds its own entrance exams or considers CUET-PG scores. Always check specific course requirements.

Hope this helps you,

Thank you

i gave cuet exam with subject pcb but for some dumbness i failed chemistry so can i get admission in du for bsc hons in zoology with english gt and biology

Nitin Kumar 18th Jun, 2024

There is a chance you might still be eligible for B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology in DU with a failed Chemistry score in CUET, but it depends on a few factors:

Each program at DU might have a minimum marks requirement for each subject in CUET. You need to check the specific eligibility criteria for B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology at the colleges you're interested in on the Delhi University website.

Even if you meet the minimum marks requirement, admission depends on the cut-offs for the program. Since you failed Chemistry, your overall CUET score might be lower, making it more challenging to secure a seat compared to students who scored well in all subjects.
