I belong to jaat community of NCT Delhi and have filled cuet form with obc category. but my community does not belong to central list of obc and Delhi University will consider only those candidates whose community belongs to the central list. so what category should I fill in the CSAS portal?

Sohamsengupta8 28th Aug, 2022
Hello Student
As you have not belong to Central list  as OBC candidates so your chance for appearing in counselling  after CUET exam is less through your cast reservation priviledges. But you can avail the opportunity as general candidate. If score well in central University common entrance test out of total marks

I have obc ncl certificate, in which it is state that maurya community is recognized as backward class in list of government of India. but it is made from UP. can i use it in 2022 du admission??

Sijal Siddiqui 25th Aug, 2022

Hi,

For admission to DU, the administration exclusively requires a caste certificate issued in the same format as that provided by the central government.

So, the obc ncl certificate issued from a state government isn't valid for DU admission.

You have to get the caste certificate issued by central government
