Totally for general category there are some 30-35 seats.

Though you will almost surely not get Economics, which is a high demand subject here, you may get seats in other subjects. Since there is an option to slide, I recommend taking them anyway, as you may be able to get into economics in 1st or second year.

Hope you are doing well, 60% of marks in the 12th board is the cutoff to get admission in the University of Hyderabad. The students are called for an interview according to their rank secured from entrance test. If you get higher ranks that means that you have a better chance of securing a spot for admission against reservation and availability of vacant spots in respective departments (Integrated Economics ).
