University of Lucknow (UL) was established in the year 1920. UL campus size is more than 220 acres. Lucknow University consists of 16 institutes. There are more than 20 thousand students enrollment in UL and the total faculty is around 340. Lucknow University is a state university and has been approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Arts, Unani, Ayurveda, Engineering and Technology, Commerce, Education, Fine Arts, Law and Science are the faculties of Lucknow University. There are a total of 50 departments at UL.
Lucknow University offers admissions to more than 180 courses. UL offers programs in three levels - diploma, UG and PG. Lucknow University admissions happen on the basis of entrance examinations or merit in the qualifying examination. A common entrance exam is conducted by the University of Lucknow for admission into most of the courses.

Eligibility for DU LLB (Three Year Law Degree) Course: The applicant should be a graduate/post-graduate in any discipline from a recognized University in India or abroad. The applicant belonging to general category should have scored at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade point in aggregate.
