I have passed Class 12 from CBSE in Science and want to take admission in B.sc. Whether I have to fill total marks of best five subjects or all six subjects?

Radhika gupta 23rd Jul, 2020

Dear Shubhashree,

Congratulations for your 12th class result !!!

The Different colleges have different criteria of admission. So Let me tell you about the Delhi university, In this college you have to give your marks according to the best four subject marks that you have got in your 12th class. In Delhi university, There are different courses for bsc like Bsc(Hons.) physics,  Bsc(Hons.)Computer Science,  Bsc(Hons.)Maths and many more You can check its official website.

Now let me tell you about the Lucknow University, In this the minimum percentage is 60% and the through the entrance exams like UPSEE,and fill the entrance exam form of lucknow university. In this university there are various courses provided like bsc, bcom ,ba ,bca and many more.

Now let me tell you about the Banaras Hindu University,Chandigarh University,In this you have to fill the entrance examination form and get prepare for that.if you clear then You will be eligible for taking admission.

There are many private colleges in which you can take admission by registering for their entrance examination and then clear it. But mostly colleges want 60% minimum percentage in the 12th class.

Hope you got the answer!!!

BEST OF LUCK!!

if you have any query feel free to ask..

I want to apply for B-Tech after my JEE exam which is going to be conducted in september, and If I dont get good percentage in JEE I will apply for Bsc.CS. But the last date to fill the MU form is Aug 17th. Will I be able to fill it later after my exams? What should I do? Help.

Kamal Kishor Chaurasiya 21st Jul, 2020

Hi aspirant,

You want to pursue engineering. Right?

You might have appeared in JEE Main examination held in January and would have got the result too. If you performed well and you are confident enough that you will do well in your JEE exam again in September then you should go to apply for B.Tech.

Secondly, if you are not sure then you apply for BSc and give JEE as well. Then you can decide which one to choose. If JEE is better choose it and if bad go with BSc option.

Hope it helps.
