My percentage is 66% can I get admission for BBI

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 7th Jun, 2019

Hello Anish,

The cut-offs for this year have not been released yet so it is difficult to say what will be the cut-off this year as it varies every year because of factors like number of candidates, exam difficulty and previous years' cut-off trends.

However, based on the cut-offs of previous year, below are the colleges which offer BBI course that you might be eligible for that come under University of Mumbai-

  • Rizvi College of Arts, Science and Commerce
  • Mahrashi Dayanand College of Arts, Science and Commerce
  • V.P. Varde College of Commerce and Economics
  • Ghanshyamdas Saraf College of Arts and Commerce
  • Jan Seva Sanghs Shreeram College of Commerce
  • Smt. Mithibai Motiram Kundnani College of Commerce and Economics
  • Seva Sadan College of Arts, Science and Commerce
  • Chinai College of Commerce and Economics
  • L.S. Raheja College of Arts and Commerce
  • Thakur College of Science and Commerce
  • Vivek College of Commerce
  • Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics
  • Sies College of Commerce and Economics

Keep an eye for these colleges when the cit-offs are released, as you might have chances of getting admission in these if you consider previous year's cut-off. Good luck!

Hope this helps.

Bls is available???????????????

Archita Pathak 5th Jun, 2019
Hello Sahil!
Yes, BLS is available in Oriental College of Law, Mumbai University.

B.L.S. LL.B. program is a 10-semester full-time course. The first 2 years (4 semesters) constitute a pre-law course where the student is taught social-science subjects like Economics, Political Science, History, English and Legal Language etc. In the next three years the actual law subjects, like Contracts, Family law, Constitution, Labour Laws etc. are dealt with. In their 8th and 10th semester, the students have the option of choosing some particular subjects along with some compulsory subjects. A total of 4 practical training papers are compulsory for all the students.
The BLS or the Bachelor of Legal Sciences degree is awarded to the students by the University of Mumbai after successful completion of the 3rd year and the LLB degree is awarded after completion of 5 years. The BLS degree is a great boon to the students, as the student is declared a graduate after 3 years and becomes free to pursue other PG courses side-by side and also becomes eligible to apply for jobs or give various entrance exams.
Good Luck!

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 5th Jun, 2019
Hello,

No, this is not possible in any case scenario. If you are enrolled with any course in particular college or University, you will have to complete the the year of the degree. As you have mentioned that you took admission in B.com which is a 3 year degree course. So, you will have to complete 3 years and if you are shifting to different place then you will not be transfer nor you can continue from 2nd year in any university. If you want continue your course in different college then you will have to start from 1st year itself.

I hope this helps.
