What are the yearly expenses for a student doing B.A?

Hello Megha, for doing BA in University of mumbai yearly fees are given below

1st year   3700 

2nd year  3500

3rd year   3800

Total educational fees you need near about 11000 for all three years. 

If you are planning to stay in hostel then , your expences will increase up to 9500 per year.

                  Yes definitely you can. That you have scored in 12th, enough to cross the eligibility criteria of Mumbai University. But now at this score you have to find which college under Mumbai University you can get. Because cut offs are high, so need to know the colleges cutoff.

Hello,

Mumbai University will release the admission forms by the last week of May 2019. You have to fill the online form along with the offline form available at the same time. The admission is merit-based. Three merit lists will be announced by the university for admission in it's affiliated colleges. You can get more details on this careers360 portal:-

I got 383/800 in MU OUT 2019 , CAN I GET CSE in manipal campus ?

To get CSE in main campus, you would need to get somewhere around 620 - 670 marks at least. So, with 383/800, the chances are a bit on the lower side. You do have a chance for courses like Civil Engineering. You can wait for the spot counselling round and can get an admission if some seats are left vacant. Good luck.

Will MU take students of NEST? Give details about this?

National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. Both NISER and UM-DAE CEBS were set up by Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India in 2007.

In the academic year 2019-2020, CEBS will admit students through the following 3 routes:

  • Through NEST: Students will be admitted based on merit-ranking in the NEST examination.
  •  Through KVPY: Selection will be based on rank obtained in KVPY examination. If more than one student has the same rank, the marks obtained in the 12th standard will be the tie-breaker.

Category-wise distribution of seats under KVPY:

General category - 6 students

OBC category - 3 students

SC category - 2 students

ST category - 1 student

  • Science olympiad medallists

One must satisfy the following eligibility criteria for admission:

  •  Candidates in General and OBC category should be born on or after August 01, 1999. The age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ Physically Disabled (PD) candidates.
  •  Candidates should have passed their intermediate (class XII) either in the year 2017 or 2018. Candidates appearing in 2019 are also eligible. If the result is in grading system, a certificate from the Board specifying equivalent percentage marks will be required.
  •  At least 60% marks in aggregate (or equivalent grade) in Class XII (or equivalent) examination from any recognized Board in India. For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates and for Persons with Disability (PD), the minimum requirement is 55%.
  •  Candidate should secure a position in the NEST merit list.

Courses offered and seat details of CEBS, University of Mumbai:

CEBS offers a 5 year integrated M.Sc. programme in Biological, Chemical, Mathematical and Physical sciences. The degrees at CEBS are awarded by the 150-year old University of Mumbai.

Tentatively, there are 45+2 seats this year with reservations as per government norms, including two seats for candidates from the state of J&K and reservation for persons with disability (PD).

Can Bsc.agriculture graduate student apply for Msc.Herbal science in Mumbai University?

The eligibility criteria for admission to M. Sc. Herbal Science at University of Mumbai is that the candidate should have completed B.Sc. in any one of the following subjects : Chemistry (with Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry and Biotechnology till S.Y.B.Sc.) Botany, Zoology Microbiology, life Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and have offered Chemistry as one of the subject till S.Y.B.Sc. (total 5 units) or equivalent.


So, if you had Chemistry as one of your subject till second year B. Sc., then yes, you are very much eligible to apply for M. Sc. Herbal Science at University of Mumbai.

Usually Universities offer 2 year PGDM but there is one University that offers 1 year PGDM .
