Dear Harsh, if you are wondering about Sports Quota for students who have played at National Level  in University of Mumbai, there is no such quota. The admissions are based either on Merit or Entrance examination based on the course that you would like to join. The reservations available are SC,ST,OBC,PWD. Sorry tondisappoint you but there is no sports quota at University of Mumbai.

Can students of punjab from CBSE board can apply in MU

Yes. Both Manipal University and University of Mumbai have students applying from all over the country. Eligibility criteria for Manipal University is a minimum of 50% aggregate in 12th boards in required subjects. The eligibility criteria for University of Mumbai is a minimum aggregate of 45% for General category and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD in required subjects.

The eligibility criteria of Mumbai University 2019 admission is the minimum criteria to be fulfilled by candidates to apply for the B.A, B.Com and B.Sc programmes offered by the university affiliated colleges. The eligibility criteria for different programmes are given here
Candidates who wish to apply for the B.Sc programmes must clear their class 12th examination in science stream i.e Medical or Non-medical as per chosen course.
Candidates interested to apply for the B.Com must complete 12th class with accounts and maths as the compulsory subjects.
Candidates interested to apply for B.A programmes are required to clear 12th class in any discipline.

The colleges affiliated to the University of Mumbai will release merit lists after the application process is completed. The merit list of Mumbai University 2019 admission will be released online along with the dates for the document verification process. Mumbai University merit list will also contain the number of seats vacant for the different categories.

Can i apply for MA English at University of Mumbai? Is it offline?

Hi,

There are 3 different courses that you can consider-
M.A. in English Revised
M.A. Honors in English Studies
M. A. Honors in English and Cultural Studies
Admission and Eligibility :
Those who have obtained the B. A. degree in the Mumbai University or a Corresponding degree of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto. Students must have obtained at least 50% of marks. Candidates can apply at Mumbai University in the online as well as offline mode depending on the course they are applying for. For Online registrations, candidates can fill and submit Mumbai University application form on the admission portal of the varsity. For Offline registrations, candidates can either download the application form from the official website of the varsity or obtain it from the university campus.

Can i get admission in St. Xavier College with 50%? I belonged to Scheduled Caste.

Hey,
St.Xaviers College is an autonomous institution which is one of the best in our country. It offers courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level along with  certain Diploma courses in the fields of Arts,Science,Business and Commerce.
The admission to all the courses except for BMM,BMS,MA,MPP are based on the merit based while for BMM,BMS,MA,MPP are based on the performance in Entrance Test.
Since the minimum eligibility criteria is to have scored 45 per cent in HSC from Maharashtra Board or any other recognized board.
You have fair chances of making it to the St.Xavier's College.

University of Mumbai was established in 1857 which  offer courses at Undergraduate level and Postgraduate level along with Diploma courses. That means, you can't get admission into 11th and 12th.

Yes, of course you can enroll yourself in any field of choice in 2019 admissions. You just need to be careful about the cut off lists that will be uploaded timely on the university website and you have to clearly check for your preferred course.
Its also important to note that your percentage in 12th , batch 2018 will be taken in regard , sometimes few of the colleges have their descriptive designed norms ; hence they can deduct your percentage giving you  a disadvantage over for applying to enroll after a dropped year and yes that totally depends on the university or college you choose.

When the pre enrollment forms of the Mumbai University will be available online?

The forms of Mumbai University will be out most probably in the last week of May 2019 and will be available till the 2nd week of June 2019 and the pre admission forms will be available in the 1st ir 2nd week of june 2019 and the submission of the  admission form along with pre admission form in the 2nd week of June 2019 following with the merit list in the last week of June 2019 

UG courses offered : LLB, B.E., B TECH, B.A., B. ARCH, B. PHARMA, B.Sc., B.Com, BMM, MBBS, BFA, B. Ed

PG courses offered : LLM, M.E., M TECH, M.A., M. Sc., MCA, M. COM

Eligibility : 

 UG courses in science : Candidates must have passed in 12th science stream (NON MEDICAL / MEDICAL) as per chosen stream

UG course in commerce : Candidates must have passed in 12th science with the compulsory subjects

UG couse in Arts : Candidate must have passed in 12th in any discipline 

PG couse : Candidate should have the bachelor's degree in the respective disciple in which the candidate is seeking admission.
