Details
Qualifying exam
Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.
Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.
Age Limit
No age limit to appear for JEE Main 2022 exam. Any student who has passed the 12th class or its equivalent exam in the year 2020, 2021, or appearing in 2022 can apply for the entrance exam.
Total number of attempts
Students can appear in the JEE Main exam for three consecutive years. The entrance test will be conducted four times a year.
Subjects
B.E/B.Tech: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject).
B.Arch: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
B.Plan: He/She should have passed the qualifying exam with Mathematics.
The percentile is the count of the number of the student in the percentage that scoured marks below than you.
That means if you have a score 80 percentile that mean your score are more than the 80% students that have taken he exam.
The top 20 percentile of the U.P. Board consist of the student who scored the average marks more than 75% in the exam.
Yes, you can take exam in English language if your instruction medium is English. You need to chose your medium while filling the examination form.
Hence, Be sure to choose english preference for writing while filling the exam.

as far as the 12th class NCERT book is concerned it is sufficient to have NCERT. but thorough go through is required, not only back exercise is sufficient but between in text are also important. NCERT is self sufficient
