Will cutoffs for JIIT NOIDA on basis of class 12 shoot up this time. I am thinking to fill application form for CSE. What can be expected cutoffs and will 88 percent be safe percentage in class 12?

Aditya 17th Jun, 2021

Hi aspirant,

Jaypee institute of industrial technology,Noida offers admissions on both the basis of either Jee main or +2 board examination scores. Computer science and engineering being the most popular course has higher cutoffs in comparison to other branches. The past year analysis says that the cutoff percentage for admissions is around 88-90, so your chances are intermediate.

You can also apply using Jee main scores as predicting the board cutoffs this year would be difficult considering it is to be made on basis of internal assessments.

Hope it helps!!

Im currently living in Gujarat .i have domicile of Gujarat ,birth certificate, complete my 10th 12th board from Gujarat state board . but i belong to up.also i dont have an obc caste certificate . if i will be eligible for applying in state quota of Gujarat from obc category for medical college???

Aman Mishra 16th Jun, 2021

Hi,

The admissions in the colleges have been divided into different categories such as General, OBC, SC/ ST and many more and from this, in which ever student belong gets the admission in that particular category but just you should have your proper proof regarding that particular field now as you have your Domicile certificate so you will be eligible for state quota seat but if you are an OBC category student you should have your OBC certificate as well to be eligible for that particular quota. So ya if you want to get benefit of it you should have it.

Thank you..

My son is a US citizen, studied up to 10th standard in US. We moved back to India and He will be doing his 11th and 12th from Pune, Maharashtra junior college. Me and my wife are Indian citizen and now resident Indians. Can he take MH-CET through general category?

Rohit K Bhat 15th Jun, 2021

Greetings of the day

Unfortunately your son cannot attempt the MHT CET exam as he doesn't satisfy the eligibility criteria for the same. It's clearly said that the applicant has to have Indian nationality. That means US residents cannot apply for the exam.

The KCET exam is conducted by the Karnataka state. According to its eligibility criteria, candidates should have studied and passed either 1st and 2nd year Pre-University Examination or 11th and 12th standard examination within the State of Karnataka from an Educational Institution run or recognized by the State Government and that either of the parents should have studied in Karnataka for a minimum period of seven years. Also, Candidate should have studied in one or more Government or Government recognized educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of seven academic years

my jee main percentile is 31 can i get any college in up

Anurag Khanna 5th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general and with General category and such percentile it is quite difficult to get any good college like NITs/IIITs/CFTIs/GFTIs. But you can try for private colleges discussed below :-

Integral University, Lucknow

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, Greater Noida

Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida

Amity School of Engineering, Noida

Even above colleges have their own entrance exam as well so you can also go for it.

Because according to the mentioned percentile your rank is expected to be in the range of 705870 - 793500 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

Or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off (expected) for JEE-Advance 2021 from the link given below :-

when we get the neet ug result and we fill up the counselling form and then we get the allotment letter and then we go to the allotted college, so do they as us any question and do they have data on our previous attempts?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd May, 2021

Hello,

After reporting in the allotted college you will have to complete the admission process. You need to pay the prescribed fee specified by the college, verify the original documents, submit the original documents, completing the bond agreement procedure and take admission in the college you were allotted. You will not be asked questions regarding your previous year NEET UG attempts.
