Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hey!
It might in later stages appear to be a problem. Gender information is important as many Colleges and Universities provide some sort of relaxation for girls. Some provide quota for girls. So, gender information poses to be an important detail. You should see whether the application form which you are talking about provides the window correction option or not. If it does, you may correct the information provided that it provides the option to correct the gender option.
Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that your OBC-NCL Caste list will not be valid. As to get admission in several NIT's or IIT's through GATE Exam, your caste list must be validated by the central government and not by the state government. So, I think they won't be considering your application.
I hope that this helps.
Hello Aspirant,
See it does not matter whether the certificate is of central level or state level but what matters is that it should be pf similar format as available on the official website of JOSAA, which you can check out from the link given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/webinfo/File/ViewFile?FileId=6&LangId=P
But I would like to remind you one thing that if you want to appear for JEE-Advance after qualifying JEE-Main then don't apply for new EWS certificate right now because as per the information brochure of JEE-Advance 2022 the certificate should be issued on or after April 1st 2022 so if you get it issued now then you would require new one for JEE-Advance as well. So what you can do for now is, when the JEE-Main application goes live then there will be a self undertaking which you can upload in the JEE-Main application form in lieu of the category certificate which declares that you will submit the original and valid caste certificate later on at the time of admission. And then after April 1st 2022 you can apply for new EWS certificate and suppose if you do not get it by the time of JEE-Advance examination then in JEE-Advance application form also you can do the same thing because for that also there will be self undertaking so you can use that.
And if you are only aiming for JEE-Main then you can go ahead and get your new EWS certificate issued now because JEE-Main 2022 application process can anytime gets started.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
