Will I get any goverment medical college, If i got 600 marks in NEET 2023 in UP and if my category is OBC either by AIQ or state quota.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Mar, 2022

Hi

I am  assuming  you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict because cut off  depends upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available etc

When we go through previous data then,

>>>>>>> with 600 marks

Your chances for government mbbs college seems to be a little low.

For example,

in neet  2020, 610 marks for general category was the cut off marks  to get a seat in Govt. Medical College   under UP  state quota and it was for Autonomous State Medical College and Associated Teaching Hospital, Bahraich

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up/amp

So, to be on the safer side you should get at least around 615 - 625 marks in neet 2023 for government mbbs college.

Also,

Your profile suggests thats you are from Maharashtra, so in case yoyr domicile state is not UP then you will have to get admission in UP through 15%  all india counselling for which cut off goes high. In this case, ypu must target at least around 650 marks to be on the safer side.

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in which you have chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2023 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

***** practising chapterwise questions

***** then revising the chapters,

***** solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation  ,

***** go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash course for you, the link for the same is given below :-

How much percentile will it be if i scores 130 marks in jee mains ? i am OBC (UP) .... at this percentile which best college can i get. gov/private CSE with or without any specialization you can tell other than iiit

Anurag Khanna 11th Apr, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your percentile is expected to be in the range of 96-97.

You can check out marks Vs CRL ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Note that the percentile which is predicted is only the expected percentile on the basis of previous year's data so your actual percentile might vary depending upon current factors.

Now based on such percentile you can go for some government colleges other than IIITs are some NITs with CSE branch under OBC quota :-

National Institute of Technology Agartala - Computer Science and Engineering

National Institute of Technology Sikkim    - Computer Science and Engineering

Also you can go for some private colleges such as :-

Sharda university

AMITY University

UPES Dehradun

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

sir if i got 96 percentile in jee main will i get mmmut gorakhpur, I m up guy

ayanmukherjee045 2nd Mar, 2022

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 96 percentile in jee mains and considering you want to go for mmut gorakhpur so let me tell you that you can easily get a seat in this college.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Usually as per previous year cut offs the cse doesn't go beyond 1k and same with case mechanical branch. The lowest cut off is seen is chemical and goes upto 3k.

neet 2022 lowest cuttoff for goverment colledge in up

Piyush 2nd Mar, 2022

hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that the NEET 2022 cutoff has not been announced yet, and is yet to commence. Futrthermore, it's quite difficult to predict the precise lowest cutoff for government colleges in NEET in Uttar Pradesh. This is because the NEET cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students and varies from colleges to colleges.

Further, the NEET Cutoff depends on various factor like : difficulty level of the paper, umber of aspirants appearing the exam, previous year trends, etc.

As per the this year (2021)result of NEET UG , General category aspirants need minimum 138 marks (50 percentile) . On the other hand General-PH(122 Marks 45 percentile) and SC/OBC/ST requires 108 marks (40 percentile). Click here to download NEET UG Score card 2021.

Further, if you wish to know more about the NEET cutoff for previous year, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

i hope that this will help.

I passed my class 12th last year from CBSE BOARD and Im from UP. I live in Tamil Nadu right now and I want to give my exam in Tamil Nadu state. In Jee Main registration form what I will fill in 12th passing/appearing state??And how can I get Tamil.Nadu state in prefernce??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Mar, 2022

Hello,

You can appear for JEE Main 2022 April Session in Tamil Nadu even though you have passed class 12th in Uttar Pradesh. While filling the application form you have to select four preferences for examination centers. You need to select the state and then the city that are enlisted in the drop box. So you can select Tamil Nadu state in the drop box and then select the city in the order of preference. And in the field of 12th or equivalent passing or appearing state you need to select Uttar Pradesh only. There will be no issue if your examination center state and class 12th passing state is different. JEE Main Exam Centres for Paper 1 are available in 567 cities in India and test cities available for B.Arch paper are 345 and for B.Plan 327 cities. JEE Main outside India is conducted in 13 cities. My permanent home is in UP. But I am studying in different state how can I create domicile in admission in jee or state councelling?

Anurag Khanna 2nd Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See for JEE-Main 2022 application there is no any requirement of domicile certificate but during JOSAA counselling when you will have to get advantage of state quota then you will have to submit the valid domicile certificate. For now there is no requirement of it. Note that domicile certificate can be issued to only those candidates who have permanent residence in that particular state. So if you have permanent residence in UP then you can get the domicile of UP until and unless you fulfil the domicile of other state where you are currently studying.

Note that the state of eligibility would be considered as the state from where you have passed class 12th.

This time JEE-Main will be conducted in 2 sessions only, first in April (April 16th to 21st) and second session will be in May (from May 24th to 29th). Note that for now application window is only for session1 examinations and for session 2, application window will be re-opened from April 8th, 2022 to May 3rd, 2022.

Application process for JEE-Main 2022 :-

>>>>> First of all you have to visit the application window of JEE-Main 2022 for which link is given below and then generate your application number and password.

>>>>> Now log-in using the application number and password generated in first step.

>>>>> There you will have to fill the application form with correct and valid details.

>>>>> Then after you will have to upload some documents and images in prescribed format which is given below :-

  • The recent photograph should be either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background.
  • Scanned photograph and signature should be in JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible).
  • The size of the scanned photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
  • The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)

I want to know when mop up round conducted.

Prachi Panda 2nd Mar, 2022

Hello,

Mop up round is a round or a list generally that comes out after all the rounds are finished. It is for filling all the unoccupied seats that have been left out after all the rounds. Sometimes students leave their seats due to some reasons and the seats become unfilled.

The mop up round is conducted in online mode by NEET-UG Counseling for All India Quota Seat.

Thank you.

What will happen if I got undesirable seat in 1st counseling of state quota, but got a desired mbbs seat in mop up round of aiq counseling ? Will i get my admission fees and security money back ?

Anurag Khanna 2nd Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See refund of security money is only applicable till round 1st not after round 2nd of NEET UG counselling so if you do not get your preferred college then you have 2 options either your leave that seat and take free exit only till round 1st or join that seat and apply for upgradation of that seat n further round so if it gets upgraded in next round then the earlier allotted seat would be automatically cancelled and the fee that you paid to that college(if paid) will be transferred to the newly allotted college so not to worry for that but yes if you resign the seat after joining it then you would not get any refund so take care of this thing.
