Yes you can surely apply for UPSC after you complete your B.Sc. may it be in any branch. To appear for UPSC you should hold.

  • A degree from a Central, State or a Deemed university
  • A degree received through correspondence or distance education
  • A degree from an open

If you want to do UPSC after engineering then you can choose any branch because there is no such branch in engineering which going to help you in UPSC .

So, you need to prepare for UPSC along with your degree or you can prepare after your degree

1 Year BA not recommendable... it will be of no use.. you can't apper UPSC with 1 year BA .. 3 Year BA(graduation) is only criteria...

Bachelor Degree is necessary to apply for UPSC.. you can go with a time saving MAGICAL TRICK that means how you can do best
