HBTU Kanpur, accepted admission through UPSEE only till 2017. From 2018 onwards it has started its own counselling and gives admission only on the basis of JEE main scores.

According to previous year cutoffs you need to score more than 150 marks to secure a seat in HBTU.

see getting rank above 20k in UPSEE is very easy. So 55000 rank is not that much good. And it would be tough to get into any of the top goverment or private colleges with this rank. And it would be more tough if you are not of UP
