Hello, Government colleges do not offer direct admissions only private colleges can offer management quota .while the government quota is filled through Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination. To avail direct admission you have apply separately to the respective institutions. To know detailed admission process through UPJEE kindly visit this link https://www.careers360.com/colleges/government-polytechnic-lucknow
Best of luck.
I believe you should lock whatever you get at NIT Raipur , as there are not many universities, GFTIs and NITs going for an additional round post CSAB Round 2. The Classes and Induction processes are scheduled to begin by December 1st. Secondly, NIT Raipur itself is a good technical institute with good infrastructure, faculty and placements.
Dear Aspirant,
You may have some chances of getting the seat. The number of seats for Architecture through JOSAA counselling is only 559 in the 9 NITs out of 31 NITs of India.
The number of seats for quota students or reservation students are limited. Therefore, there is only a handful number of OBC seats available for applications. The chances are extremely slim as your OBC rank itself is 577 which is quite high as far as getting architecture is concerned. That may be reason, why you didn't get a seat for the course in JOSAA rounds of counselling.
CSAB Counselling occurs for filling up the vacancies that are available in the NITs, GFTIs and IIITs. Obviously, the number of seats would be extremely scarce and there are still a lot of applicants.
In case you want to know which colleges you may get based on your JEE Paper 2 rank, I suggest you to click on this URL:-

This shall give you the list of colleges that you may get admission through counselling process.
As you mentioned there are like 4 seats of vacancy left to be filled in your domain i.e. Tamil Nadu, your chances are very very slim.
At this point of time, you should look for some good state government colleges that offer admission in architecture to students of your rank. You can also explore some private institutes which are as good or better than the state government institutions.
Good luck in finding a good college.
Yes, you should upload the original OBC certificate in JoSAA portal in order to avoid problems during admission. I don't think there will be any problem if the certificates don't match. They will definitely consider the new one. Make sure to submit the correct document during admission to the college.
All the best.
