Bith colleges are mediocre in terms of placements. The average placement of Vasavi College of Engineering Hyderabad is 3.8 lakhs per annum. Whereas the average placement of CVR College of Engineering is 3.5 lakhs per annum. Faculty is good and infrastructure is as you might expect in most colleges

As you ask about good college between gitam or CVR. Both are good colleges..but you can take gitam as it provide  more facility . What places are good in term of academic.

Well considering the rank which you are having which is 861 in general category in NIMCET 2019. And also if I consider previous year closing rank for nit kurukshetra then it was around 600 . So keeping in mind the rank it might be possible that you get the college.
