Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
Hello Gaurav,
Yes if you repeat your 12th these year and score good marks than you can study in some good colleges and also can apply for VIT and SRMJEE if you have a good score in those exams too and stand in a good rank or position than you will be eligible for studying in those university.
All it matters is if you can explain your 2 years gap and also if you can score really well in their exams.
All the best.
I hope it helps.!
VIT conducts a separate exam VITEEE, for admission into various engineering courses. You have to apply for VITEEE B.tech in data Science and write for the online exam. Almost all students are called for counselling process, so you don't need to worry. During the counselling process, you have to present the required documents, tell them about your preferred branch and pay the mentioned fees, and you will get admission.
You need to crack the VITEEE exam next year to be eligible to get into VIT colleges for btech course. Candidates appearing for the VITEEE in 2020 should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate). This is for general category. Candidates who have opted for MPCEA(Maths / Physics/ Chemistry / English / Aptitude)in VITEEE 2020 are eligible for all the B.Tech. Programmes. The VITEEE exam is mcq type exam.
Best wishes. Thank-you.
VIT doesn't provide scholarships on the basis of reservation categories. In fact it provides on the basis of your VIT Entrance Exam rank or your Boards percentage.
If you are a topper in any of the state boards or central boards then you can get 100% scholarship(academics fee only), i.e you will just have pay mess and hostel charges.
If your rank lies in between 1-50 then you can get 75% Scholarships, 51-100 then 50%.
So, work hard and try to get under 100 rank to avail this scholarship.
All the best!!

hi,
see I have rearrange the colleges as per students review, placement records, course curriculum etc as follows,
hope it would help.
You haven't mentioned the course you want to pursue in VIT. For B.Tech, you need to appear for VITEEE. For admission to BDes, admissions are based on valid score in UCEED. And for admission to B.Arch, admissions are based on score obtained in NATA. Admission to courses like BA,B.Com, B.Sc, BCA and BBA is on the basis of merit scored in the relevant highest qualification. MCA and M.Tech admissions are based on VITMEE.

see the basic eligibility criteria for vit integrated m.tech course is 10+2 / 12th Standard / Intermediate / PU or 12th Standard equivalent. however there is no specific marks criteria mentioned, cutoff score depends on number of participants, candidates category, seat matrix, I suggest you to apply for the integrated mtech course, and lets hope for the best.
