Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore
Hello Aspirant,
As we know that ICAR is national body which provides approval for agricultural courses for various institutes by judging them upon different parameters. So if you do B.Sc. agriculture from VIT Vellore which is not approved by ICAR so you might get less opportunities in future as compare to ICAR approved agricultural degree.
So I would suggest you to do agricultural course only if it is ICAR approved because this will also provide you a quality education for that course.

I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
Dear.
You can say that Bsc agriculture in VIT University is good. There are good labs and field for the practical based learning. Faculty also really good. It's affiliated to Tamilnadu Agricultural University (TNAU). Since it's affiliated to state Agricultural University, there is no issue with ICAR. But also, remember that they have just started the course from 2018. Good placement opportunities in agro-based companies would be difficult. You can consider more better options.
All the best.
Hope this helps!
Dear Priyanka,
Questions(MCQs) in VIT exams are generally very conceptual but easy.
From my personal experience, I would say, though all the topics will be from NCERT, but it's safe to read some more books as well, specially the biotechnology chapters on your 12 th biology text book.
I wish you good luck!

Dear Aspirant,
The btech course in VIT is a good course in terms of both placements and faculties and facilities. However, IT and computer science trader are very good in terms of placements and the average packages then compared to any other branch.
So if you get any of these two branches then certainly you can go for VIT.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
