I have got 88 . 203 percentile (with caste sc) in jee main jan2020, is there any scope for me in vellore institute of technology?

Hello Sourabh,

Admission in Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is purely on the basis of VITEEE. VIT doesn't takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains.

I think Vit is good.There are lot many things good about VIT:

Diversity of students; makes you comfortable when you come out of university.
Knowledge ; It depends on how you manage to grasp and how you involve in the subjects.
Placements: I feel VIT is much better in getting opportunities to students as lot of tier-1 companies comes. (Personal Experience)

It doesn’t mean that all other institutes are bad. As far as I know, VIT is good among all you mentioned above.

If u have a choice to select among these, Go ahead with VIT.

vit collage fees and how much rank should come

The college tuition fees is 173000 + 3000 (caution deposit) for a few courses. And for others it is 195000+ 3000 (caution). Now this is is you are admitted in category . The fees keeps increasing with category which increases with rank. The rank you need depends on what branch you want. For example to get cse in vellore in category 1 you need a rank of around 5000 or less.

Hello dear

As I know you can get admission in btech field in VIT through the viteee the exam. Viteee conduct it's own entrance on the basis of rank in entrance the admission will be done. And in MBA admission is through CAT,GMAT,XAT ,CMAT,MAT as per the information available .

Is vit university good for cse? And what are the cse specializations that will have demand in future?

hi candidate,

If you are getting VIT Vellore CSE, you can take it is good enough the avg. package is 4.5-5.5 LPA. Most of the students grab this package. Less people get package of >10 LPA. You better keep one thing in mind that there are more than 1000-1500 candidates in B.Tech. CSE of VIT Vellore. So its overpopulated and the competition will be fierce during placements/internships. If you are getting CSE/IT/ECE in colleges like Thapar, RVCE , LNMIIT Jaipur, DAIICT, BIT Mesra, then go for it rather then going for VIT Vellore CSE.

AI/ML
DATA SCIENCE
CLOUD COMPUTING
COMPUTER VISION
AR-VR TECHNOLOGY

i am planning to take admission in vit vellore. i have registered for aieese secondary and i saw vit is a partner institute if i happen to pass aieese secondary, will i get scholarship for studying in vellore if not , how will the aieese exam help me as vit is a partner institute

Hello,

VIT is not a partner institute with AIEESE.It offers scholarship to those candidates who qualify in AIEESE secondary taking admission in VIT.It offers finanicial assistance to the candidates who gets admission IITs/NITs/GFTIs/ICAR/Top private universities.If you do not qualify in AIEESE simply you will not be eligible to get scholarship.

Hi,

VIT provides the scholarship to the student enrolled in vit courses. The scholarship /concession in the fee are as -

Toppers of each State Board and Central Board	100% Tuition fee waiver for all the four years.
VITEEE rank holders of 1 to 50	75% Tuition fee waiver for all the four years.
VITEEE rank holders of 51 to 100	50% Tuition fee waiver for all the four years.
VITEEE rank holders of 101 to 1000	25% Tuition fee waiver for all the four years.

So it is not the marks but your viteee rank which determine what fee concession you will get.
