Well , MSc Physics in VIT is very good . Rather than doing MSc in other private institutions , you should choose VIT. Here no specialisation in MSc Physics is provided. The lab facility is very good . You will get to do 2–3 mini projects and one comparably larger project in each semester besides the theory and practical papers . It gives you good research environment . If you want to pursue your career in Research , then this is the right place . One thing to remember , your basics in some subjects should be very strong otherwise it will be difficult to grasp the subject . In some subjects, the professor will start teaching you from basic level.

so overall , If you have failed to clear JAM or JEST , make sure you apply here .

Admission

Admission is provided on the basis of your mark in BSc. There is no separate entrance exam for admission .

The last of registration for VITEEE 2020 is now extended to 22 March 2020 .

Admit card will be released for the same in Third week of March.

Expected date of exam is between 13 to 19 April 2020.

Result will be announced on 30 April 2020.

Counselling starts in Second week of May and First week of June 2020.

Yes VIT,Vellore is quite good college for Computer Science as the placements there are quite good with some placements are at par with the IITs and NITs. However, you need to study a lot to get those placements, VIT will provide you with a platform to showcase your skills. Moreover, VIT has a good alumni network making it further a plus points in placements.

All the three are the prestigious and excellent Colleges. VIT Vellore is a private deemed college having good infrastructure, providing courses such as b.tech, m.tech, BSc, etc., The fee ranges upto 8 lakhs depending on the course you choose. Its a NAAC A credited college.

VIT Bhopal University is a private university and UGC approved situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It was founded in 2017 by the Vellore Institute of Technology. Placement of 2019 batch was pretty good. Average package offered was around 6 lakhs. VIT Bhopal is a decent college in terms of teaching and placements. Till now, it hasen't got any rank by NIRF.

The fee structure for Computer Science branch in VIT college is roughly around 1 Lakh 76 thousand per annum. And the hostel  mess fees (including morning breakfast, Lunch,evening snacks, and dinner) is around 1 Lakh 60 Thousand per annum for non AC rooms. For AC rooms, the fees will be certainly higher.

The Eligibility Criteria is (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics, and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST.

For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
