Hello there,

Key points:
Your rank is considered strong and may help you get branches like ECE, EEE, Mechanical, or Civil.
Highly in-demand branches like Computer Science and Engineering may have tougher competition.
Admission chances depend on seat availability, the number of applicants, and the specific branch you choose.
You must attend the counselling process and fill in VIT-AP University as one of your preferred options.
Final admission depends on that year’s cutoffs and counselling rounds.

As of now, the specific AP EAMCET 2025 cutoff ranks for VIT-AP University, Amaravati, have not been released. However, based on the AP EAMCET 2024 data, the closing ranks for various B.Tech programs at VIT-AP were as follows:
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) : 1,930 – 32,235
Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : 20,165 – 20,169
Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) : 5,705 – 5,709
Mechanical Engineering (ME) : 140,000 – 150,000
These figures indicate that for the CSE program, candidates with ranks up to approximately 32,235 were admitted in 2024. Please note that cutoff ranks can vary each year based on factors such as the number of applicants, seat availability, and overall performance in the entrance exam.
With 96% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), you have a strong chance of getting admission into the Integrated M.Tech program at VIT Vellore in both Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Here are the key points:
The minimum eligibility for the Integrated M.Tech program at VIT is 70% in PCM, and your 96% score is well above this requirement.
Admission is based purely on Class 12 marks. There is no entrance exam for the integrated M.Tech programs.
Early applications are beneficial as VIT follows a phase-wise admission system. Phase 1 usually offers more choices in specialization and lower fee categories.
With your high score, you are likely to get placed in a better fee category (such as Category 1 or 2), which means lower annual tuition fees compared to higher categories.
Specializations include Computer Science and Engineering with Data Science, Software Engineering, and more.
To increase your chances:
Apply as early as possible.
Keep all required documents ready, including mark sheets and certificates.
Your academic performance is well-suited for this course, and you should definitely proceed with the application.
Yes. I would wholeheartedly ask you to choose VIT Bhopal in terms of reputed college only. Obviously, you should consider factors such as traveling to the campus and also the choice of available courses.
Pros - The best part of VIT Bhopal is the 100% full doctoral faculty who have a firm grasp of their respective courses. I enjoy the classes and the way they teach. Online classes have been taking their toll on class interaction, but the professors have been doing their best to keep us interested.
Coming to the Fully Flexible Credit system allows for interesting choices of courses from the 2nd year (I am not entirely sure about this). As a first-year student, this facility has allowed me to maximize my time usage between having fun and seriously studying.
At the end of the day, it is your choice. But if you ever wish to come to VIT Bhopal, rest assured you will not be disappointed.
Cons - NIRF rating is looking strange . I visited VIT Bhopal for My nephew admission in June 2023. It is not in Bhopal district it is 75 km from Bhopal .
Academic building was smaller than compared to number of student . So students classes happens in shift it may be morning till night . Many colleges in Bhopal is having much better campus and infrastructure than VIT bhopal. Class room were also not having those seat arrangement as being shown at VIT Bhopal web site. Hostels were having space problem so , bed has been put above reading table. Didn't see any sport ground . may be somewhere but due to under construction buildings it was not visible. I talked to few students , few were satisfied , but few were not satisfied with teaching and placement . I was told over phone that Veg and Non Veg kitchen are seperate , but It was not the case .
It was getting cooked at same kitchen , and they were claiming that it separated inside . When I requested to show the separation , No body allowing for it . So I decided to not go for admission.
I hope this helps.
