Veterinary Science
Hi Aradhy.
The admission to veterinary courses was done through aipvt but from 2019 it will be done through neet UG exam. Since this course has been added to neet only this year it is difficult to predict the exact cutoff score. This is because we don't have any previous data to refer to. And also the cutoff depends on various factors like the difficulty of the paper, the number of seats available, your category, the state of domicile etc. But you need to know there are 15% seats reserved for all India Quota and the rest for state quota. So I would advise you that a score of 350+ can be safe bet.

Good luck!!
Hello raamdev,
Well the competition is quite stiff but you may get a government medical college regarding your category and cap reservation. But you haven't mentioned your domicile. I would be able to suggest better if I had complete information.
Kindly provide your domicile.
Well I can say this that you may get a BAMS or vet.seat with that score.
Thank you

When does the admission for management seat open in veterinary college shimoga
Hii madhan,
There is only 15% seat for veterinary science education on all India basis.e merit to get admission in any government recognized Veterinary College will be made according to the numbers achieved in NEET exams.
Cut off vary every year based On the difficulty level of the paper. It's also depend on the category, the category you belong to like Open, SC, ST, OBC..
Cutoff also vary for government, private and deemed University. It depends also on state of domicile and choice of college.
So for safer side try to score 350 +marks for geeting seat in Veterinary college.
Good luck...
It is not always like the govt. colleges are the best. It depends upon your interest that in which course you want to go with. It may be possible that in private colleges the BDS or any other course than MBBS is good but at the same time in the govt. college MBBS is the better. But If you want to go for MBBS only then you have to look for the colleges and at the last you will get the govt. college only on the basis of your merit rank. If you are not eligible to get the govt. college in MBBS then you can try private college also. Some private colleges are the best in India. So it is not like that the govt. colleges are only the best. So you can go for the private college if you have no financial issues otherwise it is completely fine to go for the private as well as govt. college with the choice of your course.
