VIT-AP University, Amaravati
With 75% in 12th and 43% in JEE Mains, getting admission in VIT AP is possible because VIT mainly considers 12th marks for admission, especially if your JEE score is low. VIT has its own entrance exam (VITEEE) or direct admission based on board marks. You can also try other VIT campuses like VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai, where 12th percentage plays a big role. So yes, you have a good chance to get admission in VIT through your board marks.
Hello Devansh, With your VITEEE rank close to 42,000, it is very much possible for you to get CSE in VIT Vellore (CAT 1 or CAT 2) and possible for VIT AP contingent on the opening ranks for that year. CSE in VIT Vellore is very competitive, especially CAT 1, so it is more realistic to get a stream instead. VIT AP is growing, with areas of opportunity and growing, and better infrastructure than what was in the beginning. If you get CSE there as I indicated, the same thought process indicates that it is worth consideration.
Many students say to avoid VIT Bhopal due to it being new (less facilities) and less industry connections. It also does not compare, facility-wise and industry-wise, to VIT Vellore and VIT AP. However, getting CSE is most important and if everything else fails, braking VIT Bhopal is possible. My suggestion would be VIT Vellore (CAT 1 or CAT 2) if you got to sit for CSE or relevant stream. Otherwise, VIT AP is a strong second option. Avoid VIT Bhopal if you have better options.
Best of luck!
With a rank of 218731 in Phase 5 of VITEEE, securing a Computer Science Engineering (CSE) seat at VIT-AP is unlikely, as CSE is highly competitive and closing ranks tend to be significantly lower, around 6000. While you might have chances for other branches at VIT-AP, CSE is less probable given your rank and the competition for it.

With a rank of 218,731 in Phase 5 of VIT-AP, securing a seat in CSE may be difficult, as the competition is intense, and the cut-off ranks for CSE tend to be lower. However, it depends on factors like seat availability and other category-based considerations.
With a rank of 33,000 in the VITEEE 2025 exam:
You can get:
VIT-AP (Amaravati) – Category 1 or 2 for most branches including CSE (except CSE specializations might need Cat 2).
VIT-Bhopal – Easily Category 1 for all branches including CSE and its specializations.
Both campuses have relatively lower cutoffs than VIT Vellore or Chennai, so 33,000 rank is considered good for AP or Bhopal campus.
Hey there! So, with a rank of 181,392 in the VITEEE, getting into CSE at VIT AP might be a bit of a stretch, since that program is pretty popular and competitive. But don’t lose hope! Admissions can vary each year based on the number of applicants and their ranks, so it might be worth checking out other branches or colleges too. You never know what opportunities might pop up, so keep your options open and stay positive! Good luck!
