VITEEE first mock test was scheduled from May 20th-22th and second mock test is scheduled from May 24th-26th. The time slots for the two mock tests and actual test will be same. Which means for instance if you have selected 3A, the slot booked for first mock will be on third day first slot that is from 8:30 AM. So your first mock test is on May 22, 2021 from 8:30 am, the second mock test will be on May 26, 2021 from 8:30 AM and the actual test will be on May 31, 2021 from 8:30 AM. Each slot booked has different timing which is as follows
SO the time depends on the slot your have booked and the time and day is same for first, second and actual test.

No, You do not have to install any app in your mobile phone if you are using Android mobile as secondary device it should have a front-facing camera and minimum OS version of Android 8 or above and it must have Chrome browser version 80 or above or Edge browser version 45 or above. If you are using iOS mobile device as secondary device it should have a front-facing camera and minimum OS version iOS 13 or above and Safari browser version 13 or above. You need to have the above the mentioned specifications and browser in the secondary device.

No buddy, the counseling process at Vellore institute of technology is not at all like that of you have mentioned. If a seat in lower category is vacant due to candidates pulling back their names, that seat is transferred to the higher fee categories ( mostly in 4th and 5th).

You have decent chances of getting B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai in Category 1 or 2 based on previous year's cut-offs. As per the cut-off given by experts you have decent chances to get seat and also your Rank falls under previous year's of B.Tech Computer Science Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. But Cutoffs varies from year to year. They depends on many factors like number of students appeared, number of seats available, category, difficulty level of the exam etc.

VITEEE 2021 mock tests are conducted so that the applicants will get familiarised with the Online Remote Proctored Exam mode. You will not get the results of the mock test. The first mock test is not monitored by the faculty but the second mock test will be monitored by the faculty. Also the system specifications and the compatibility will be checked during the mock test so that the candidate can appear for actual test on the same system. Only the actual test results will be announced.

As per the instructions in the VITEEE 2021 OPRE Instructions and guidelines both first mock test and second mock test are mandatory to appear for final or actual test. It is given in the instructions under 'mock test' section. Please read the instructions and guideline carefully given the PDF which you can access through the given link https://vit.ac.in/files/VITEEE-online-guidelines.pdf
If you do not appear for first mock test or second mock test or both you will not be able to take the actual test. So it is mandatory to appear for mock test 1 and mock test 2.

In their official notice it is mentioned that you need either a os like Windows,Linux or MAC OS in order to download their apps in which you will be able to give your examination.However you need a mobile too as a third device for proper proctoring as per the guidelines for VIT exams.Go through the guidelines once more and you will get all cleared.
As per the instructions available in the official website it is necessary to appear for first mock test and second mock to appear for the actual test. The mock test helps the candidate to get used to the Online Remote Proctored Exam mode and to check if the devices are compatible and has the required specifications. If you have logged in for while during the first mock test you will not face any problem. But if you haven't logged in then you might not be able to appear for the actual test.
