As you have mentioned that you have got 25k rank in viteee 2021 and you are wanting to take up mechanical branch there. So, let me tell you your chances are fair of getting mechanical branch in vit vellore and that too in category 1.

The cost in category 1 is decent and is much cheaper than other categories . The tuition fees is around 2L per annum and so the total course fees is around 13-14 lakhs including your hostel and mess fees. So, its a fair deal.

VITEEE 2021 mock test 1 and 2 are conducted to let the candidates become familiar with the Online Remote Proctored Exam mode as mentioned in the VITEEE ORPE Instructions and Guidelines https://vit.ac.in/files/VITEEE-online-guidelines.pdf

The mock test will check the specifications and the compatibility of the system and provides the real time exam experience. The results might not be displayed as it is just to prepare the candidates for OPRE mode so that they won't face any difficulties on the exam date.

Amrita Vishwa vidyapeetham has released AEEE 21 examination pattern and the date for phase 3. The examination is of total 180 marks. Among that you get 103 marks which is a quite good marks.

However Amritaa viswa vidyapeetham, does not provide admission on the basis of of marks the provides admission on the basis of the rank. And the cutoff trend changes each and every year.that's why it is quite difficult to tell about the exact rank for which you can get your CSE or not.

As per the previous year cut off the rank was for home state Quota 16547.

Today, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the first VITEEE 2021 mock test. The steps to give VITEEE exam mock test are as follows:-

• Visit vit.ac.in

• Click on the “Mock Test” link.

• Enter email Id and password.

• Click on the “Submit” button.

• VITEEE admit card for test will appear on the screen.

• Click on the “Take Test” button in front of the VITEEE 2021 mock test date.

• Now click on the “Open Test” button.

• Launch Secure Exam app.

• All the system requirements like microphone, camera, browser will be checked. Students also have to upload a valid ID proof for attempting the mock test of VITEEE 2021.

• Read the general instructions.

• Click on the “Start Test” button and attempt the VITEEE mock test.

Based on previous year's cut-offs it can be said that chances are less to get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering Core branch or Specializations in Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh in Category 1 or 2. You can try for Category 3, 4 and 5 but you need to pay additional fees along with regular Tution Fees every year, if you get seat in other categories expect Category 1. Fo r admission into B. Tech Computer Science Engineering branch in Vellore Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh you must atleast get Rank below 18000 based on previous year's cut-offs for category 1. For other categories the Rank may vary. But cut-offs varies from year to year. Also cut-offs varies from category to category and campus to campus. Cut-offs depends on many factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of students appeared, number of seats available, etc.

VITEEE 2021 first mock test is conducted without any vigilance which will be conducted from May 20, 2021 to May 22, 2021. But for second mock test the faculty will monitoring the candidates appearing for the test and for the second mock test you need to login in primary device that is Laptop or desktop with Linux/Windows/Mac OS and secondary device that is mobile phone (Android/iOS). And for actual test also you need to login through primary and secondary device. Please read the instruction given the PDF carefully through the link given below

If you switch between networks during the test there might be connectivity issue which might interrupt the test. According to the instruction given in https://vit.ac.in/files/VITEEE-online-guidelines.pdf

the network must be stable with minimum upload/ download bandwidth of 256 KPBS should be available for the duration of the two hours. Not more than 5 minutes interruption is allowed or else the test session will get terminated and there will be not be given any chance for retest. Keeping that in mind we would suggest you to not switch between network frequently.

Yes you can definitely attempt the mock test through mobile but I would prefer you to use laptop and give the exam because see it just because of the environment I am telling you to give through the laptop as you will only get used to environment and will be easier for you to write the exam.
