VIT Engineering Entrance Exam
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well...
Cut-offs are subjected to change each year as they depend on variable factors such as the number of students appearing for the exam, the previous years' cut-off trends, the difficulty level of the paper, etc. As VIT-AP is a newly established university and based on the previous years' cut-off tends, you stand a fair chance of getting a seat in CSE or CSE-related courses.
For more information about the college, visit their official website:

Hope this was helpful.
Should there be any other queries, please feel free to ask.
Good Luck!
Hi Aspirant!
According to teh previous years records, most probably you will fall under either category 2 or category 3. As upto 20,000 rank the students are counted as category-1 candidates and 20k onwards they are counted under category 2 or so on. Also, with this rank, you might get Civil engineering, Electronics and computer engineering, Fashion technology etc. in VIT Chennai. To know more, visit here:

Thankyou!
Hi aspirant,
Yes, it it is possible to get a computer science and engineering seat at Vellore institute of technology Andhra Pradesh with the mentioned rank. Since the AP campus has been recently established, the number of students applying here is comparatively lower than the others. Analysing the past trends you can get a CSE seat under category 2 or 3.

Hope it helps!!
Hello,
Talking about the VIT’s it is considered as one of the best private institution in India due its great record in academic excellence. Now talking about the VIT which you should choose among Bhopal and Amravati than i should say that both are almost similar there is no much difference between them only the thing which is your most preference choice you should go with that only because you will know better that which campus will be best for you in terms of travelling and many other aspects. So thinking on all this point you should try to make the decision.
Thank you..
Dear aspirant,
Asd you have mentioned that you have got vit chennai computer science branch in category 2, so the total fees of the college is 18L . Therefore in these private colleges the ROI factor is not good.
But still as you are getting computer science so you would be placed at a decent company so you can take up computer science branch there. But if you have any good government college as option then you should go for it whether or not you are getting computer science.
Yes I believe with a Rank of 23026 in VITEEE, you have fair chances of securing CSE (Core) or CSE (Spez) at VIT Bhopal in Category 1 itself. VIT Bhopal is really rising in character and competition at par with its sister institutes at Vellore and Chennai.

I think with 29.7k Rank in VITEEE, you have somewhat chances of securing CSE, CSE(Specialization), ECE or IT in Category 2 or 3. In Category 1, I believe you have low chances of securing ECE, but keep fingers crossed. Even if you get EEE at VIT Vellore by Category 2, thats also a good consideration.

Greetings dear aspirant
Firstly, congrats on successful completion of your MET exam. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With 143/240, its not possible to get CSE or IT branch in their main campus, i.e. Manipal as there is a huge competition for these seats. The cut-off of CSE branch at Manipal campus was 781 in the year 2020. You can try applying for other branches in Manipal campus like Mechanical, Biotechnology, etc. Also, you can try for branches like CSE, IT, ECE, etc in their Jaipur and Sikkim campuses. Just apply to their counselling process and as it is conducted in different rounds, your chances of securing a seat increases.

You can have a look at the cut-off trends from the above link.
Hope I've cleared all your doubts!!
All the best for your future endeavours
