Hi Zeher,
9550 can be considered a very good rank in VITEEE. You can most probably get CSE, CSE with specializations and all other branches at Vellore campus with the mentioned rank under category 2. You may even get lower branches under category one.
Vellore institute of technology has announced guidelines for refund policy in regards to the VITEEE counselling starting next week. The counselling fee is non refundable, apart from that all the money excluding 1000 as processing charges would be refunded if student takes back admission before session starts. There are provisions for refund even after commencement of classes till 90 days from 4th August but has higher deductions ie 10 per cent if applied under 30days, 50 per cent if applied under 60days and only caution deposit will be refunded if applied after 90 days.
Hope it helps!!
Dear aspirant,
As Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), AP is a newly established VIT college, the cut-offs here are very low as compared to other VITs. You can easily get admission at VIT AP in Computer Science and Engineering branch. As per the cut-offs trend, seat availability, and the number of applicants, you can get admission in 1st category. But if cut-offs went high then still, you will get admission there but in the 2nd category.
To know more information about the VIT AP college, you can visit the following link:

I hope, you get admission soon.
Hi Aspirant!
It is clearly written on their admission polity that "Candidates who have not appeared for the VITEEE are not eligible for admission to B.Tech. programmes The admission will be purely on the basis of the ranks secured in the VITEEE, conducted by VIT "
So, there is no other medium to get into VIT other than VITEEE.
You can checkout their admission policy in the link given below:

Thankyou!
Hi aspirant,
Congratulations on your wonderful performance in VITEEE. CSE in the Vellore campus is the most soughted course during the counseling period. The cutoff for core CSE is around 3000 and that with specialisation ends near 6k under first category. So with your mentioned rank, a CSE seat under second category will be available for your grabs.
You can check the past cutoffs at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-cutoff
Greetings dear aspirant
Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for completing your VITEEE exam successfully with flying colours. When it comes to CSE branch, the cut-off is really high as the demand is so much. Cut-off trends change every year based on the number of students attempting the exam, number of available seats, difficulty level of the exam, etc. But when it comes to a rank around 19,000, CSE or CSE with any specialization seat in Chennai campus can be easily secured within 1st fee category itself.
You can have a look at the cut-off trends from the above link.
All the best for your counselling process
Hello,
If you belong to general category then you must score minimum 54% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination, if you belong to SC/ST category or hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura then you must score minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination to be eligible for admission. Assuming that you belong to general category you are not eligible for even if you have secured a decent rank. You must be eligible at the time of counselling to get admission, if you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria then you cannot get admission.
