the exact system requirements for VITEEE have not been released as of yet, however, given below are some of the basic system requirements you will need to have to give any kind of remote proctored entrance exam,

• Operating System - Windows - 7/8/8.1/10
• Processor - Minimum 2 cores, 4 threads, more than 2.2 GHz
• RAM - 2 GB or above
• Screen Resolution - 1024 x 768 and Above
• Web camera - Resolution 640 x 480, 15 frames per second (fps)
• Network bandwidth - Min 1 Mbps continuous connectivity
• Browser - Latest Chrome, latest Edge
• .Net Framework - V4.5.2
• Antivirus

For SRMJEE 2021 and COMEDK UGET 2021 2021 you will have to go to the allocated centres but for VITEEE 2021 you can appear through remote proctored mode from the comfort of your home.

As of now most of the entrance examinations have been either postponed or shifted in complete online mode which is known as remote proctored mode due to current surge in COVID-19 cases but some exams like COMEDK UGET 2021 and SRMJEE have not announced any amendment seeing current surge in COVID-19 Cases but there is possibility that they might get conducted after the situation becomes normal but still we have to wait for any official notification from the competent authorities. As of now

**SRMJEE 2021 is scheduled for May 23rd and May 24th in offline mode

**VITEEE 2021 will be conducted on May 28th, 29th and 31st in remote proctored mode

**COMEDK UGET 2021 will be conducted on June 20th in online mode

Hope you are doing well.As per your rank you cannot get admission in Comp.Sc.Engg in VIT Vellore because to get admission in this branch you should have atleast 7000 rank.But you can get admission in-

Computer science and Engg. (Specialisation in Bioinformatics)

Firstly, I would like to congratulate you for completing the VITEEE exam with such a decent rank. The demand for CSE seats is growing like a wildfire these days. But, with a rank of 2907, you can very easily secure a CSE seat in both Vellore and Chennai campuses in 1st fee category (i.e. 1.9 Lakhs tution fees per annum) Soas the cut-off for CSE at Vellore campus was 7000 in the year 2016. So, sit back and relax. Just apply to their counselling process.

VITEEE 2021 will be conducted in Remote Proctored mode. So the candidates taking the test must have a desktop or laptop with the given specifications.  The microphone and the camera must be switched on during the exam. So your desktop or laptop must have web cam, the session will be recorded and stored in the servers. If the web cam is not switched the exam taken by the candidate will not be evaluated which leads to the cancellation of the candidature.

With the rise in covid cases due to second wave of transmission ,the authorities planned to conduct the VITEEE exam in online mode as a remote proctored test this year,however last year the exam was cancelled and admission was given based on 12th marks.this year there was supposed to be a centre based test but due to the spread of the virus it will be online in the dates may 28,29,31 of 2021.The extention of last date of application is till may 20.The exact process of how to write exam and all will be released till then you can apply for the exam and prepare well.for preparation tips refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/viteee-preparation-tips
