As you have mentioned you have scored 50 marks in viteee 2021, so there is very less chance for you to get cse there even if you opt for category 5.

Since vit vellore authorities have not released its cut offs for past few years ,it is very difficult to predict what is the exact cut off for the cse branch or any other branch. Although the cut off changes every year depending upon the difficulty level of the paper, the number of candidates appeared on the exam.

Till now, no news or information have come into light which states the postponement of VITEEE (Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam). But if the COVID-19 keeps increasing then chances are very high they this exam will be postponed like other exams. I suggest you to study hard because nothing is confirmed yet.

Have a look at the important dates regarding VITEEE-

1. Application form released- November 30th, 2020

2. Last date to submit- Not announced yet, (May 31st, 2021 Expected)

3. Admit card release- June 2021

4. VITEEE date- June 18th to June 26th, 2021

Exam will be held in three sessions

1. Session 1- 9 AM to 11:30 AM

2. Session 2- 12:30 PM to 2 PM

3. Session 3- 4 PM to 6:30 PM

If you want VIT then you have to sit for the VITEEE and the exams will be conducted from 28-31st May,2021. So its not likely that you will get the results before 2nd June,2021. Thus you have two ways-

• Not to take admission in SRM and solely prepare for VITEEE and try to score maximum score.
• Take admission in SRM and if you get a seat in VITEEE cancel your admission. You will get the money back after deductions. Although, If there are some freezing kind of option you can opt for it.

These are two ways you can think of.

Yes of course you can join VIT even if you don't appear for VITEEE, because VITEEE is an entrance examination only for admission to B.Tech courses but if you are seeking admission in any other course like BA/B.Sc./B.Arch and some others then you don't need to appear in VITEEE. In fact, for some courses like BA/B.Com./B.Sc. you can take direct admission on the basis of your class 12th score, you do not need to appear for any of the entrance examination.

Also for B.Tech in Fashion Technology there is no requirement of VITEEE, you can directly apply for admission in the course from the official website.

The remaining two - three days before the main examination are very crucial. In these days you should be revising more rather than practising. Atleast as per my view , the day before exam you should only focus on how to revise your maths formulas.

You should practice the formula of the chapters like integration , mathematical reasoning , statistics by writing down on a paper. Also note down the formulas seperately which you are forgetting while revising. By doing this it would help you to remember these formulas clearly.

And before 3-4 days of the exam practice the sample papers for viteee exam to check on your self performance.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you it depends upon set to set but you should go through the previous year question and then analyse the paper as some times mocks given are much tougher then the actual question papers given at the time of exam.

Last year when VIT entrance exam was cancelled the admissions were based on the 10+2 level score. So if at all the VIT exntrance exam is cancelled this year mostly the admissions will be based in the 10+2 level score. As of now there is no news of cancellation of VIT entrance exam. VIT Vellore has released the application form of VITEEE 2021. Candidates should visit the the official VIT website, viteee.vit.ac.in to fill and submit VITEEE 2021 application form. The exam authority may release the offline VITEEE application form 2021 as well. The VIT engineering entrance exam 2021 date are from June 18 to 26, 2021.
