Number of sections: Four sections

• English & General Aptitude

• Chemistry

• Mathematics

The type of questions asked: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions

The number of multiple choice questions subject wise:

• Mathematics-15
• Physics-10
• Chemistry-10
• English-10

number of NAT type questions are as follows subject wise

• Mathematics-5
• Physics -5
• Chemistry- 5

For MCQ type question each correct answer will get 4 marks and for an incorrect answer one mark will deducted. For NAT questions each correct answer will get 4 marks and there is no negative marking for NAT type questions.

The registration for Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination has  (VITEEE) 2021 has started from November 30, 2020 and the last date to register is not yet announced. The registrations are open now. You can apply if you are interested to seek admission in to VIT. The entrance exam will be conducted from June 18 to June 26 2021.

If you are going to apply for these exams I would say these are more than enough . You don't need to apply for anything. One entrance you can add if you want and that is bitsat. You can cancel MET instead of bitsat.

The last date to apply for VITEEE 2021 has not yet been announced by Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) . The exams will take place from 18th June 2021 to 26th June 2021. Interested candidates can fill the application forms on the official website: https://viteee.vit.ac.in/ . The last date to apply for Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2021 First phase for B. Tech was 31st March 2021. The application dates for Phase two will commence from 1st April 2021 to 25th May 2021. Phase two exams will take place from 9th June 2021 to 15th June 2021.

Yes direct admission is possible in VITEEE through management quota.You can give donations to the college and direct admission in your desired stream is possible there.However after giving VITEEE you can take admission only through counselling and you cannot expect direct admission after that.

The merit list for VITEEE 2021 will be prepared based on the marks scored in the entrance examination. The scores are converted to percentile score normalising the marks based on the top score, least score, total number of candidates appeared, etc. A rank list is prepared based on the percentile scores of the candidate. The percentile scores are used to determine the rank. The admission is done based on the rank secured by the candidate.
