You have to authorise your parents to attend the counselling session on your behalf. So you can be free to attend other college counselling or exam you may have in clash with counselling.

Yes, you can get mechanical in VIT AMRAVATI with this rank. Vit Amravati is not as good as VIT VELLORE and CHENNAI branches are. The placements of this college is also not upto the mark.
