Firstly, I would like to congratulate you on successful completion of your VITEEE exam with flying colours. The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 2000, you can very easily secure any seat in their Vellore and Chennai campuses as the cut-off for CSE at Vellore campus was 7000 in the year 2016. So, just apply to their counselling process and you'll easily secure a seat in first fee category itself.

CSE is one of the most admired course by the aspirants and there's a considerable amount of competition to get CSE you should have a rank above 6000 but as every year situation is different you have a fair chance to get in, you have a strong possibility to get the admission in category 2 & 3.

You can get VIT Bhopal in category 1.

VIT announced the results for counselling on 24th June and students were allotted provisional branch on on the basis of their ranks and and preference order during the the choice filling. According to the regulations, VIT has strictly mentioned that no requests for change in campus branch or category will be entertained. So i t is not possible for you to change your branch.

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, you should certainly mail the required authorities regarding the same and should request you to correct the mistake that you have made as at the time of document verification if any differences are found then it will create some problems and could also result in cancellation of admission so you should try to make correction as soon as possible.

I believe you have somewhat moderate chances of securing CSE, CSE Spez or IT  in VIT Chennai by Category 2 of Counselling with a Rank of 20700 in VITEEE. However, at this Rank, you may even secure Electrical or ECE by Category 2 at VIT Vellore which too are good options. I would advise you to not go past Round 3 of Counselling as their is a significant fifference in Tuition.

Yes, I believe with a Rank of 27k in VITEEE, you have fair chances of securing a seat in VIT Chennai in CSE, CSE (Spez), IT or ECE probably by Category 2 or Category 3. You might have bleak chances of Mechanical, EC or IT even in Category 1, but chances are bleak. By Category 2 or 3, with 27k, you might even secure ECE or EEE at VIT Vellore which is also a great option considering the excellent career scope and placement prospects.

For your VITEEE Rank it is different to get B.Tech Computer Science Engineering and B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai in Category 1 or 2 based on previous year's cut-offs. Your Rank does not fall under cut-off range of B.Tech Computer Science Engineering and B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. But Cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors like number of students appeared in the exam, number of seats available, category, difficult level of exam, etc.

You can try for B.Tech Computer Science Engineering branch and B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering Category 3 or 4 or 5 but you need to pay extra amount apart from regular Tution Fees as per College instructions.

The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 38,000, you can easily secure a BioMedical seat in Vellore campus in 1st or 2nd fee categories itself as the cut-off for the same was 45,000 in the year 2016. But, the cut-off for the same was 13,000 in the year 2015. So, just participate in their counselling process to know the exact cut-off of this year.
