Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, you have less chance of getting C.S.E in SRM as the cutoff is around 10,000 after seeing the past year cutoff trends but then also you should wait till last round of counselling and hope that you should get desired seat.

The cut off for Computer Science Engineering will be less compared to other branches. With rank above 37000 you do not hold chances of getting seat in Computer Science Engineering. You need to secure a rank below 7000 to have decent chances of getting admission to Computer Science Engineering. With the given rank you may get admission to Bio-Medical Engineering, Production and Industrial Engineering and Civil Engineering in Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore and in  Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai you have chances of getting admission to Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Factors that determine the cut off are

• Difficulty level of examination
• Total number of candidates appeared
• Total number of seats available etc.

For your rank you will be getting non-IT groups in vellore or chennnai. In category 1 you will be getting electronics group like ECE in both vellore or chennai. Don't loose hope you maybe  getting  CSE or IT in 4th category.

Hello aspirant, it is very easy to get CSE in VIT Bhopal or VIT AP as they are recently established . According to your rank , you have a chance of getting CSE in VIT Bhopal in category 2. Generally CSE cutoff for category 1 for VIT Bhopal is under 30000 rank and for category 2 it is around 75K rank.

For category 1 the tuition fees is around 1.98 LPA. For category 2 the fees is around 2.32 Lakh per annum and for category 3 it is about 3.5 Lakh per annum. So if you are comfortable with the fees then you should try to get a seat in core branches in VIT or according to my opinion you should try to get CSE branch in other colleges that will require a much lesser fees also VIT Bhopal is a newly established collage and has no placement records so choose accordingly.

Hello aspirant, the fee structure for VIT in 2021 has been released on official website. Apart from tuition fees of 1.98 LPA for category 1, you need to deposit a one time caution money of 3000 which will be refunded after 90 days of admission. This caution money is taken for admission in all schools and colleges as it ensures that this money will not be refunded if the student decides to leave the college before 90 days after commencement of class. If a students fails to deposit his tuition fee, the same can be adjusted against the caution money. It is basically a security amount kept with the institute.
