Its totally depends upon competition. Ao just keep focusing on your studies.

my vitmee rank is 1780 what are chances for me to get a vlsi degree seat in any vit campus and any category

Shubhankar Tak 6th Jul, 2020
Hello Aspirant See the criteria to get seat in VIT is divided into 2 categories which follows as:-
  • Category 1 students need to secure rank range from 200-300 in order to get seat in vlsi
  • Category 2 students need to secure 700-800 rank inorder to get seat in vlsi through viteee

As you got rank 1780 their is very less chance to get admission as there is huge demand. As per the scenario from last few years it very difficult to get VLSI in both Vellore and Chennai campus,
But I will advice you to try your luck for Chennai campus.

Hope this helps
Thank You
All the Best

my bca cgpa is 7.25 upto 4 sem can i get vit mca seat and also i m from obc categ??

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 1st Jun, 2020

hi,

see to get admission in vellore institute of technology in post graduate courses you need to appear in entrance test conducts by vit, also after shortlisting through entrance test there is interview rounds, eligibility criteria is Candidates should have graduated with a full-time degree from any recognized University/Institute with a minimum aggregate of 60% or First class for MCA degree programme. for mca course admission there is no entrance test, so as per your score in bachelors  less chances for selection, but I suggest you to apply and lets see what comes so far.

see your gate score is ok but you may not get chances in top ranked colleges for m.tech course in vlsi with this score. so I suggest you to also apply for other m.tech entrance exams like bits hd, vitmee, state government colleges exam also.

Which is the best book to prepare for VITMEE and MEE M.TECH?

Deblina Maity 22nd Feb, 2020

If you are preparing for GATE exam then preparing for VITMEE will be lot easier. Now, to prepare for the English section which is of 20 marks you can refer to Objective English by Arihant which is the best book for preparing English for any competitive exam. Also, you can download the GradeUp app where you can give short tests to increase your speed and efficiency.

Now, to prepare for the technical section which is of 80 marks, it is best to refer to your graduation books as you need to have a very good knowledge of the theoretical portion. Here, in the exam the questions are mainly theoretical based and direct. So, you can refer to GATE or IES  books by Arihant or Made Easy publication for practice.
