If you are good with your fundamental basics you can easily crack it. Most of the questions would be from almost every subject in your UG course such as C,JAVA,NETWORKING etc.And some questions would be from integration and differentiation and other normal aptitude questions.

Once you are through with your exam and got nice ranking count yourself in as an VITIAN as for the interview(much as counseling) they'll just check your documents and ask you for campus selection.

Fortunately, VIT chennai and VIT Vellore students have their placements together at the Vellore Campus,so you can breathe a sigh of relief,in case you felt placements would be an issue(according to the previous year placement percentage record VIT Chennai has more placement percentage than VIT Vellore)...
