Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore, and Chennai are some of the leading engineering institutions in India. Even sometimes they are regarded as the No.1 private engineering college in India. VIT has announced the results for VITEEE held on 28, 29 and 31st May. It has also released a set of guidelines for the admission procedure through a circular.
As per the released guidelines, students with a rank above 100000 are only allowed admissions in the Bhopal and Amravati campuses that too in phase 5. So there is no way you can even get admission at VIT Vellore or VIT Chennai.

As you have mentioned that you have got 12.3 k in the viteee exam ,so you would definitely secure computer science branch/ specialisation in category 2. Securing in category 1 with this rank is difficult as the seats gets filled very quickly in category 1.
Coming to the campus selection, vit vellore would be the number choice with this rank. Other campuses like vit chennai or vit bhopal or vit Andhra Pradesh are not as famous as vit vellore for its cse placements.

The cut-off trends keeps changing every year and it depends on the number of students attempting the exam, difficulty level, number of available seats, etc. With a rank near to 30,000, you cannot get CSE, ECE or IT seats in Vellore or Chennai campus in any fee category. Whereas, you can easily secure a CS, ECE or any other seat in their Amravati (AP) and Bhopal campuses in 1st or 2nd fee categories itself as these are recently established.

It is difficult to get Computer Science Engineering branch is VIT Vellore for your VITEEE Rank because your rank does not fall under the previous year's cut-offs of Computer Science Engineering in VIT Vellore Campus. You may get CSE in Category 5 but yoy need to pay additional Rs. 2.5 Lakhs per annum.
But you have chances to getting mostly Non-IT branches based on previous year's cut-offs. The cutoffs varies from year to year and may depend on many factors.
