In spot round all the colleges report to the allocation board with the status of vacant seat in the college. So all the participating students are made to fill choices again and the seat allocation happens again.Spot round is basically the last round of any counselling procedure.

You can get all the branch in lower cutoff colleges. Since you did not mention the college so we can't say.

Basically in mop up round if seat is vacant then you will get good college with better branch so stay on.

Your rank is bit low for cse but you have good chances for mechanical and civil branch.. you may get easily cs branch in some private engineering colleges by campus level counseling....go for it...best of luck

The possibility of getting a college in mop round depends upon the availability of seats, your rank, your category and also on your luck. I don't think the cutoffs are going to fall much as other counseling like josaa is almost completed so the chances of students leaving their seats

Availability of left over seats
The rank of candidate
The category of candidate
