Work experience
hi,
see the cutoff score changes year to year and there is no surety that fo any particular category the score would be same. thats why candidates have to try to score as high as possible. however it does not solely depends on the overall percentile , you have secure the section wise cutoff score to get calls from IIMS.
for nc obc category, iim ahmedabad 2019 section wise percentile cutoff was as follows,
VARC- 65
DL AND LR-65
QA-65
OVERALL- 75
IIM CATCUTTA
VARC- 70
iim bangalore,
you may follow the below link of Careers360 article to know about cat 2020 expected cutoff,

Hello Aspirant,
Most schools look for a minimum of two years of work experience and on the higher end, we've worked with successful applicants who applied with six or seven years of experience. That said, those lucky applicants tend to be the exception to the rule and have extenuating circumstances in play.
If you have work experience between 2 to 3 years in supervisory cadre, you will be awarded weightage by IIMs in admission. Please remember no IIM gives any weightage to the work experience of less than 6 months. Work experience beyond 4 years on wards also has very less or no weightage and is not much preferred by IIMs.
Hope this helps !!
Getting into HR with no experience can be a challenge. Volunteering can be a great way to break into field of HR. Contributing to a local community or NGOs can build the required skills. There is no physical examination for "WORK EXPERIENCE". This particular field is graded on the basis of assessments, internals, etc. However, this is not taken into consideration while calculating aggregate percentage. Aggregate percentage will still be determined by the five main subjects' marks. However, if a student fails in one of the five main subjects, then instead of using that failed subject's marks, marks of additional subject (if any) is taken into consideration for calculation of aggregate percentage marks.
Hope it helps.
hello dear,
No, your 12th class percentile will not create any trouble.
Only your graduation , your CAT score and working experience will be considered.
try to achieve 99.99% on your CAT examination So that you will get the chance on some top IIM colleges.
Thanks
All the best have a bright future ahead.
Hii Sushila
It's great to hear that you have a 6 year work experience and you want to refine your career again.
The course you are asking to join is the course made for working professionals who want some changes in their field of work or want to get higher rank profile.
It would be really helpful for you to refine yourself and your career again.
There's no harm in doing this after mba.
It will definitely add value in your resume.
If you can't afford regular college, you can also try the executive course or part time courses.
