Dear Aspirant,
Yes, you can do your MBA program in RMIT without any work experience. Having said that the first step that you need to do is check if your college is eligible under the Commonwealth Register of Institutions for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and if your Degree is recognized. Then you need to do your IELTS and start the process of applying to the university.
You must go through the enrollment process very thoroughly as it is very important that you understand every requirement and normally overseas institutions expects the students to understand every facet of the enrollment process. Admission is just not about getting good grades in your examinations but your suitability for the course, hence it is more rigorous. Then you also need to understand the visa requirements to get a valid Student visa and that can only happen after you get a confirmation of enrollment.
If you are really keen on RMIT, please visit their site and read thoroughly and take notes on requirement for enrollment and then visa process. Preparation is key!
Good Luck
Hello
If you do well in the two years of your MBA program then the recruiters will be ready to forget your past. I would suggest you to take admission into institution of your choice, go ahead and complete your MBA with full enthusiasm, prove everybody wrong by excelling in your MBA and no recruiter is going to worry about those three years. As it is rightly said, you can't bury the past so don't try to. See how well you can do in the present to build up a good future.

Hii,
They might if they feel suspicious about one's experience. They do ask a lot of questions about your job profile, what all responsibilities you had at your previous job etc. These recruiters are great in terms of catching even minute details and might ask for a background check before giving you the job offer. So it is advised to be honest at all times. Honesty is the best policy. If you are able to answer all the questions they ask regarding your previous experience then they might not.
Though they do verify all your certificates be it related to work or extracurriculars etc. so please keep them intact and produce when asked to do so.
Thanks.
Ok Shreya, Let's start from the basics. There are certain misconceptions everyone has while coming to CAT Percentile.
If you consider top Institutes like IIM A,B,C,L,Kozi, Indore. FMS, XLRI then there are certain rules which they follow for the Initial Calling and final Selection. Each and everything as certain weightage like for FMS Delhi, 100% weightage is given to CAT percentile while Initial Calling and for Final Selection, 60% to the CAT score, 10% to X and Xii and 25% to GD and PI. Sometimes they conduct Extempore too.
Top IIM's follows different rules, 60 to 70% weightage is given to CAT score for the Initial Calling and then for the final Selection 50-60% is given to GD and PI while work exp. is given a mere 5 to 10% only( during Final Selection).
So, you need to get 99+ percentile to stand anywhere.
Feel free to comment down any other query.
Hello Aspirant !
It will make a difference definitely in the admission process if you are looking for a good college , as interviewers asked you about the reason of your gap , so it is advisable to have a good reason prepared already in this matter.
Same thing will happen in placement activity also.
Hope it helps !
see it is not mandatory to have work experience to join 2 year mba program in sp jain, however if you opt for executive mba then work experience is necessary.
sp jain offers mba courses on Marketing, Operations, Information Management & Finance.
sp jain selection criteria is two types 1> profile based, 2> profile cum score based.
as per previous years cutoff cat overall percentile was 85. with 75 percentile cutoff in sectional. sp jain observes candidates based on their academic score, extracurricular activities, achievements and relevant work experience.
