Appearing MBA examination gap appears is not a criteria. Gapopeers after graduation will not create any problem for appearing this examination. For taking admission in MBA in reputed colleges candidate has to appear for interested like CAT MAT GMAT XAT SNAP.NMAT, If you get in these entrance tests at least
99 percentile of marks then you will get top most be schools and IIMs which is 20 in number in India ,for taking admission in MBA course of your choice.
In general there and research problems if you want don't have any kinds of work experience but in that case your academic score should be good. But if you are Academy score is good and if you have a total 5 years of GAP then you make and face some difficulties during shortlisting. But obviously don't lose your hope if you have 5 years gap with any reason then all the sum I am can problem in that case but you easily can go for xat snap,nmis and all of those. Well, to get admission in M.Tech colleges after B.tech , you need to appear for GATE exam ,
GATE exam stands for Graduate aptitude Test for Engineers .It is conducted by 23 IITs and IISc Bangalore . Individual IITs conducts this exam once in a year .
Basic Eligibility is :
Age : No upper limit
If you can qualify the GATE with a good marks after clearing the cut off , there will be a huge chances to get admission in TOP institutes like IIT or NIT .

It's a pretty average score and so you need to score very high percentile in cat to secure seat in colleges iim ahemdabad,Calcutta, Lucknow, Indore, Bangalore, kohzikode.
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
In due course of studying and learning computer science engineering coding subject has seemed to be hard for you to learn and use it in future. So you are trying to leave the profession of computer science engineering as there is some lack of coding subject and its use in practical field. Now you want to do MBA which may be done after your gaining some years work experience in this field .

You have a good past academic score but you do not have work experience , for admission in top IIMs ( Ahmedabad . Bengaluru , Calcutta ) you will need more than 99.5 percent which translates to a cat score of around 105+9 according to past year scores ).
For IIM ( Indore , Lucknow , Kozhikode ) around 99 percentile is required which will be around 95+ CAT score.
