hello im in class 10 and while writing my English boards exam i think i forgot to write a questions number will i get marks on that question please answer i have cried for a while now please

Ishita 6th Jul, 2024

Hello aspirant

Seeing as you already would have gotten your results, this answer might help future board students. Any Central Board or State Board is stringent when it comes to their paper-checking methods because they have a reputation to maintain. So, if they find an unanswered question or misnumbered or unnumbered answer, they don't even look twice and carry on with their checking, thus not giving you marks for that answer. Also, a single teacher has to check approx 30 answer sheets in a day, they have a lot of work load and thus are under stress.

Hello aspirant

For getting a seat In veterinary Course you will have to write an entrance exam nert ug or exam conducted by university. Without qyalifying entrance test you won't get admission .

. You also have to fulfill other eligibility criteria for the Course.

Eligibility criteria for veterinary Course or BVSC is that the candidate must have passed class xii with minimum 50% marks in physics,  chemistry and biology .

Or the candidate must have passed equivalent course such as gnm from a government recognized university.

If you qualify entrance test, you will be called for personal interview and then merit list will be prepared combining entrance test score + personal interview.

There were 4 questions in the writing section of my english board paper and all had internal choice. I wrote the internal choice option for the first three questions but forgot to write the option for the last quetion as I was in a hurry and had little time left. Will my answer not be considered?

Pihu Sharma 23rd Feb, 2024

Thanks for sharing your concern.

In situations like this, where there are multiple questions with internal choices, it's understandable that managing time effectively can be challenging. However, forgetting to provide an answer to one of the questions, especially when there's an internal choice, can indeed affect your overall score in that particular section.

When examiners evaluate answer scripts, they typically allocate marks based on the content provided. If you've missed answering one question altogether, you may miss out on potential marks associated with that question.

That said, examiners are usually instructed to assess the content of each response comprehensively. If your answers to the other questions demonstrate a strong understanding of the topics and meet the criteria for scoring, you can still earn a respectable score for the section. However, the missed question would result in lost marks.

Overall, while forgetting to answer one question can impact your score, focusing on providing thorough and accurate responses to the questions you do attempt can help mitigate any potential loss of marks.
